Rangers target Paweł Brożek nearing move to Celtic

Edit - From Google translate [IMG]

Quote: Pawel Brozek is nearing a move to Celtic. Although a few days ago it seemed that the Polish national team striker hit the Rangers rather, it is a local rival in the last minute stepped into action and won the competition for Brożek.
Celtic made more concrete offer both Trabzonsporowi and own the player. Today, negotiations took place, and everything indicates that the parties reached agreement, and the Pole will be loaned to the end of the season with the option of pre-emption. Brozek still must pass medical tests in Scotland. If the testing is successful, the whole matter will be finalized quickly.

If Paul Brozek sign a contract with the Scottish club, Celtic will meet in another Polish player Lukasz Zaluska. It is also important that the Polish striker really wanted in their team coach "The Celtic" Neil Lennon.

Pawel Brozek has been several weeks openly talked about that you wanted to change the club. He had offers from Gaziantepspor, Legia Warsaw, Lechia Gdańsk, Young Boys Bern and Glasgow Rangers. Ultimately, however, opted for a club that entered into the action as the last, that is Celtic.

Everything points to it so that it will be next after Maciej Żurawskim striker, who scored lots of goals at st. Reymont, and now will also have the opportunity to hit the Celtic Park.

But that was in Trabzonspor where he was used as a sub. He used to be played for like 5 minutes untill FT. Not a bad player.

Not the most impressive C.V.... Only 110 goals and he's been a pro footballer for over 11 years!

Trust me. The guy can be deadly and would score some goals here. Nothing like Bangura. I wouldn't be suprised if Brozek would bang one or two in his debut here. He scored many goals in Wisła. Did score 8 times for Poland but he is used as a SUB for Lewandowski and earlier for Jeleń. His record is bad only in Turkey but I've already told why is it like that.

No thanks. We need a goalscorer, this guy isn't that. We've got enough strikers who don't contribute goals.

The goalscoring record is what people look at when "unknown" targets pop up on this forum. And for your other post, Bangura was a HERO at his former club AIK. And he didnt really get a chance here yet. What im saying is that if we get a offer from a player with this goalscoring record i would rather give Keatings or Rasmussen a chance instead of throwing money on someone who is a doubt

Edit: If he signt, then i HOPE I AM WRONG mate!

i know what you mean but Zurawski scored an unbelievable amount in Poland and wasn't that great here.

his record seems like he'd be a huge gamble.

A couple of years ago i would definately have taken him he was the golden boot winner in poland several times and was starting for their national team but he never really progressed from being the promising young talent to being a real star or becoming a good international player. Right now hes not starting for poland and i don't think he will start for their team any time soon although he will probably get called up to the euros to sit on the bench. If we were trying to get a polish striker i would rather wait till the summer and sign jakub swierczok who just signed with kaisersluten this january, hes been dubbed the new lewandowski in poland and plays in a very similar style, plus hes only 19 and kaisersluten would be tempted to sell for a decent offer because they are likely to get relagated this season.

Not playing a lot probably. Hes only played 290 minutes this season for them like 3.2 games and scored 1 goal so its probably not as bad as it looks.

Looking at all the strikers we have been linked with, I would be slightly disappointed if this would be our man.
