I think the hoops could be in for a great coup if we re-instate our interest with the Russian star. I have always wanted him in the hoops since I watched him play againt us at parkhead.

Been reading there that Redknapp doesnt fancy him much and in the last 2 weeks he has been put into reserve football.

what do you recon the chances are for us putting in a bid or even a loan bid (with an option to buy) close season. The man knows what its like to play in paradise and the atmosphere that night would surley go miles into selling the hoops tyo him also CL football would help I imagine

 

Initially i thought oh christ i thought the pavlyuchenko threads ended 8 months ago but his circumstances at spurs are pretty * at the moment with the likes of keane and defoe there who redknapp would rather play. He's too good a player to be sitting on a bench never mind in the reserves. If he's seriously unhappy and completely unconsidered by redknapp then aye i think it's a good shout, but redkapp probably ackowledges that alot of players just take a while to adapt to premiership football so i doubt he's regarded as a failure just yet.

 

I think fine even for a year on loan if Redknapp feels he hasnt settled the way they all liked, it wasnt even radknapp that signed him so he might be okay to let him go. They have bent aswell and I know he likes his english players better . A wee year up here then try and persued him to stay

 

Pavylchenko in a celtic jersey would be amazing
if he is frozen out out at spurs id say y not put in a cheeky 5 mill pound bid

I would prefer to see Andriy Voronin in the hoops but i don't think we could afford either of them for the simple reason i'd imagine the likes of Everton or Villa would be interested in players of their quality.

Would be the sort of striker we need, realistically i doubt it would happen with our wage structure at the moment but whats the harm in inquirying anyway the worst we can get is a no.

One thing is true though is that there are a few clubs that are way too top heavy when it comes to players in their squads. Spurs have a few players tha they'll want rid of, Man City as well - they have Benjiani and Vassell sitting in the reserves. Benjiani would be a great signing.
