sorry if this is in the wrong section

anyone know anywhere near the stadium where parkin spaces are usually available on matchday?, or even just the best place to park?

in all the celtic games i've been too, i've always got a train, but my dads takin the car on saturday and hes never drove up either, he know the area reasonably well, so if you can give me any tips on where to park, that'd be great

    hail! hail! :shamrock:

Best place is probably the Retail Park carpark, like next to pizza hut.
If you leave the game 5 mins early, you'd get away in seconds.
Leave at full time (what you should do), drive along away from the city and when you get up to a roundabout, take a left, follow the street then take another left and you'll come into Duke Street (you'll know when you see The Louden Tavern and The Bristol Bar unforunately). Go along Duke Street and then turn off to go towards the Royal Infirmary and when you get there, you're on the motorway.
That's the way I go, and I'd be going in the same direction as you.

Edit: Not roundabout, go go past a roundabout next to Forge shopping centre.
Turn off left at next junction.

mate i am driving up to tomorrow

i would park in the car park just off sprigfield rd you get there early enough its safe as house but would need to leave early for a quick escape

or you can park just along from the celtic association it will cost you 4 quid and safe

or take your chance in the estate opposite the association there is a green grass at the back and you can park on there,

I always get parked in the forge, just watch yourself there though. Nearer kick off time they have "security" patrolling the carpark looking for fans going to the game and you'll be asked to leave if caught using there for parking.

Sorry for digging up this old thread but I'm starting a new job in denny in a few weeks and I'll be working most Saturdays until 1 so I'll be driving to home games and wondered where the best place to park was as since this thread was put up a lot of development has taken place. Thanks in advance

Lots of folk over the years when this topic comes up always mention clamping there or has that become a thing of the past at the Forge Car Park?

Na only dvla can clamp for road tax evasion, you might however get a parking fine but its not enforceable either
