I have heard that Strachan is supposed to be jacking it in on Monday :bbpd:

The big tip is that Owen Coyle is on his way :ynwacelti

    Source. A relative of Coyle

seems a good manager but he's still into an early career.

personally i feel we need a manager that can attract some slightly bigger names. MON had that pull about him.

I wouldn't take him. I'm sick of domestic managers. We need a change in shape of some foreign, proven manager.

    My thinking exactly.

Should Burnley win, Coyle will have uber cash and a team in the EPL. Should Burnley lose, the Celtic board wouldn't even look at him twice.

I understood that Strachan was offered the Celtic job after Desmond bumped into him at the Horse Racing...anyone know if Mourinho or Hiddink will be at Ayr races next week?

Let me get it straight , Owen Coyle has a chance to take Burnley to the premiership on monday and if he does , he will quit to manage celtic in the SPL ?

    Ditto.

If we don't go for Mowbray, i'd like to see us go for a top notch foreigner.

You obviously don't know Owen Coyle then
Coyle would walk from Burnley to Glasgow barefoot to take the Celtic job,
EPL or not :party048:He is the biggest Tim going :50:

The Club need to dig deep if we are to have a new Manager, Coyle does not have enough experience, Mowbray has just taken WBA down, great CV or what? I fear that we will be looking for a cheap option. I think they should match David Moyes salary at Everton and offer him the job, if indeed there is a vacancy.

We could probably get him too, but what would he offer over and above Strachan?:celt_2:
