OP I agree completely with the first part of the post. Of course I am disappointed BUT I'm not surprised in the slightest.

I was dreading getting into CL this year as I really believed we could have ended up with nil points. Time to re group in Europa. Bet Dundee fancy there chances now though!

 

Utrecht (europa), Artmedia....wouldn't rate them any better than Maribor or Legia tbh.

 

I don't see the loss of revenue as a blessing but it may well be good experience for the players. Atletico done well using the EL route and Benfica before them

The BIG difference is our * TV money and no league sponsorship worth the term. We will be hurt by this. Lower crowds = lack of atmosphere ---leading to lower crowds = less money to spend next year

I'd rather have no Europe for this season and let Ronny bring in the players he wants and get us playing the way he wants, at this point we aren't anything special in terms of the Europa League.

 

We're still a work in progress...... we would have been embarrassed in the CL, though £15 million means a lot to the club.
