Every time O'Dea is in CD I fear for the worst, I'm not seeking to scapegoat him - I just don't rate him at all at CB.

If Loovens & Hooivelt are both still out next Saturday, we'll have Rogne in at Parkhead for DUFC.

This will give us a chance to see him for 90 minutes & I expect him to be better than O'Dea - I'd hoped to see him today anyway.

The following game after DUFC is at Ibrox.

I hope Hooivelt is back at least for that.

He's probably our worst CB and that tells a story. Hope to see Rogne in squad against Arabs, but I fear O'Dea may be in first 11 against Huns.

He came here as some sort of saviour and fans expected him to do wonders in defence when in fact he's even worse than Heid and Mick.

Good get him tae * ! * clown ! He should be showing some sort of leadership to Josh , Rogne , but they must look and think * ! Don't think the fact we have two different CB's every game is helping our cause ! But nobody , even TM can do anything about injuries. But we seem to lack a Mjallby or Bobo type in defence.

i think theres no leadership. think the old celtic teams all had that strong defence which made them the best team in scotland but we never use to lose 2 goals or more a game bad times think o'dea is nuthing special mid range defender bad times

He does seem to have learned from Caldwell & McManus in the art of jumping on an opposing fowards back.

The amount of freekicks we gave away from O'Dea jumping on someones back, brought back fond memories of McManus.

None of the defenders out there today won a ball in the air! They can't jump. No leadership, but you can't expect O'Dea; still the bit-part player he's been since breaking into the first team, which means he's still inexperienced and also remember as well that he's still young; to offer leadership. He, like Thompson and Rogne need experience alongside them. I feel bad for O'Dea, but it's like Big Mick all over again. Mogga's going to potentially ruin the confidence of promising youngsters like Rogne by putting them into that * awful defence and expecting them to cope.

Someone wrote in a rag the day after the January transfer window closed that the deciding factor in our hopes for the title would be that we didn't sign another experienced CB. So it's proving to be.

What amazes me is how so many fans loved the guy, he had a song etc when he was obviously a horribly flawed player who made lots of mistakes and always has been from his debut. It really makes you think how much some fans are blinded by biases. Again Mogga is playing even Thompson ahead of him. Clearly most manager think OD is very poor and always is about 4th in the pecking order of a very poor bunch of CBs.

Guy is proper mince. The new long ball merchant at the back who can't pass. Not good enough and to think he has been the captain is very worrying indeed.
