    So, The famous Number 7.

    Heres some of the most famous:

    Jimmy Johnstone
    Henrik Larsson
    Kenny Dalglish
    Davie Provan
    Johnny Doyle
    Scott McDonald
    Juninho
    Zurawski

    If you had to pick one of the celtic players this season to wear the number 7, Who would it be. If there was no choice and somebody had to wear it who would you want to see in it.

    Me personally i would give it to Samaras. Im a strong believer that if you wear the number 7 for any club ( mainly celtic ), It makes you wanna perform better.

    if i could make it as a pro , i would try out of my skin for any number. lucky *, they dont know how lucky they are. probably forrest. home grown and showing good skill and natural ability. that can only improve as time goes on.

    Unless it's a player steeped in the history of a club , playing for their boyhood heroes and it's been drummed into them from family or people at the club , that wearing a particular number is special (Number 10 for Argentina being an obvious exception in world football IMO) then I really don't think the ordinary player gives much of a toss about the number on their back , but will always answer respectfully when asked what it means to them.. I think it means more to the supporters..

    It might be too much pressure on the lad's shoulders, but I'd opt for Forrest.

    Cracking wee player and I can only hope that he's with us for a long time and keeps improving, shame the same couldn't be said for McGeady, but that's a differant topic altogether.
