    YEP PARANOID PATTO

Just find it bizarre with the ref doing Rangers a favour and the ref at pittodrie was pretty kind as well!

    Just because we're paranoid.......

The whistle went and they scored after it, the referee should be brought to task for that decision.

Apparently Strachan asked the 4th official about the "goal" and he replied that his headphones were not working. Once they were working again, the 4th official failed to explain the incident.

Re. the Rangers referee, rewind to Craig Levein's comments after the game at Ibrox last season.

On another note regarding the ref today, did anyone spot him sprinting to dish out a red card, only to change his mind once he had time to think about it?

    Blatant.

Guy that scored wasn't offside I don't think, I may be corrected.

There was a big heid the baw jumping up for it though that was offside and you cannot tell me he wasn't interfering with play.

remember the furore in the printed press at the start of the season because three "dodgy" decisions worked in our favour? for three weeks we had very hun they could find and full page spreads for "wronged" managers like that tube at St Mirren calling for inquests etc

we have had perfectly good goals chalked of at least three times this season in the league plus the champions league against Aalborg. The some of the decsions today as an example

will we or have seen press calling for referees to be hung out to dry?

take a wild guess at the answer.....................

that is why we absolutely must hammer these swines and win the league which is the only way to shut them up

Apparently, to appeal, the ref actually decides on the appeal, like he's going to make him look an absolute * and say he was wrong.

The Ref was horrendous, but tbh although a little disappointed, not too bothered...still thinks we will win the league quite comfortably come May

Aye it was a red, the guy went in with his studs.

The goal wasn't offside, 3 other Aberdeen players were offside but the scorer wasn't unfortunately.

Mark Kerr's tackle was a shocker and deserved a red but I thought their goal should have stood anyway. I think the ref thought Diamond's header went by the post and blew for a pen which would have resulted in Big Jan being ordered off (goal scoring opportunity).

It had nothing to do with the referee.

We were pish and we got pumped, deservedly.

We are a very ordinary team and if the likes of Hearts, Aberdeen and Dundee United actually play well then they are a match for us.

I was thinking after the christmas period celtic have upped the tempo a bit on the other teams and would go on a run ,but again they have faltered and are making life very hard for themselves .

If i had a bet i would bet celtic to win the league but not just rangers here ,if a team went on a run of 6-7 games it would be very interesting indeed to see how celtic could cope with it ,both celtic and rangers are there for the taking at present and they look vunerable to teams that will attack them ,these teams now relise that the best way to play celtic is to have a go themselves ,it doesnt allways work but some cases this season have had celtic in there back pockets .

The ref made the correct decision it was a clear goal so theres no point moaning about it. The only thing i can moan about after that performance is the complete lack of creativity apart from Aiden and SB. Nakamura was utter dross and how he got full 90mins is beyond me.

McGeady was poor yesterday. He wasted so much of the ball. As you say though he wasn't the only one. Nakamura, Samaras and Hinkel were guilty of the same.

On a day like yesterday there is no point in singleing one player out ,if mcgeady is not supported he cant play ,if samaras and mcdonald dont score you must look at what behind them ,are they doing there job ,,its a team effort ,on a good day a team can carry one player who may be having an off day ,not 3-4-5 players at once .

Besides which ... giving up 4 goals... the problem wasn't the offense.

This is true. If you lose four goals then it is very difficult, even if the strikers are playing well, to avoid defeat.

Unfortunately we were crap all over the pitch yesterday.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
Brown - at fault for goal 2, which arguably Boruc would have saved. Never looked comfortable or dominant in the box at all.

Caldwell / McManus - both very poor positionally. Conceding 4 goals for a club of our stature is an embarassment.

Hinkel - Not one of his better games; didn't get forward as much as he / i would like.

Robson - played out of position, not his fault. Why not start Misun who IS a left back? We missed Robson in the midfield.

Nakamura - International hide and seek champion once again. So often lets us down away from home, as Billy McNeil has commented on time and time again. Playing through the pain barrier, which is commendable, but he was utterly useless yesterday.

Samaras - top goalscorer, yes. Lazy carthorse who makes me want to rip off patches of hair in disbelief? Also - YES!

Hartely - heard his name once yesterday. Poor man's Robson.

With that number of poor showings, yesterday was no surprise. We need to start on a run - commencing next week - that includes Old Frim victory in February. Efforts must be doubled.
