Can't use the out of position so much.

He's been a CB for us for years now. It was * stupid no denying that and yes, it * us in the game, it still took a lucky set piece for them. We should have been scoring simple as. We failed to score amd that's what cost us. Other than bitons ref and Duffy we defended well.

The huns got away with * all game as we well expected.

Aye Biton will feel * about that but stop blaming him for 10 being so *.

 

Unbelievably stupid, the fact he's the go to back up at cb as well, even if he has played well there in the past is a damning indictment of our recruitment.

Ye can though, cause He’s not a cb, he’s been used sparingly there for the last say 4 seasons never really holding it down whereas that’s him only being a part time defender for 4 seasons yeah. Then other defenders have been playing there since they’re about 14 years of age, that’s the position they’ve been moulded into to play and the position they know well. Ye get me? So he is still inexperienced there as he’s only played there for 4 seasons and he’s well into his senior career. Managers to blame for using him here

Honestly aswell I think the whole aw he loves the club etc only goes so far. He needs to be sold/released. Yeah he’s stuck by the team and played his part in covering cb when needed but he isn’t good enough at cm and especially not at cb and he hasn’t been good for us in about 5/6 years ffs. Needs to be let go

So harsh to blame this season on Bitton. The guy has been happy to play the squad role and has rarely let us down. Today he made a mistake and it has cost us. Hard to take but he's not the reason we have lost the league. Lennon wouldn't have had to turn to a midfielder turned cb to play if Duffy wasn't so poor a player

 

I wouldn’t blame the season on him either tbh. I’d blame it fully on Lennon and the board for sticking by him but i blame bitton on losing this must win game for us to salvage any hope of this season

Nah, he's reliable for the most part and he's been a good servant. He defo gets amplified criticism because of where he's from. Canny believe that's debatable.

 

Nah he’s reliable apart from games where it matters. No way he should even be in the team in fairness. Manager should have got in better/more defensive options in the transfer window to avoid playing a cm at cb
