feel the time is right to get rid of guys like mginn who have become as good as they are going to be.i was at game yesterday and he doent offer anything,he constantly bottles out of taking his man on and this isnt good enough for a celtic winger.Think we should go for templeton in summer as him and forrest would be great and also there for years to come.

sorry but mcginn is an excellent player who with more games will get better. and to punt him to me wouldnt make sense whatsoever.

Had high hopes for McGinn and was impressed when he first broke through but starting to lose patience with him and after having plenty of opportunites to prove himself im starting to think he simply isn't good enough.

Have to say though, im still not totally sure on Forrest either. Now before people crack up, im still happy to give him a run of games and i know he's still very young and i still think he could be good but alot of people on here talk about how good he has been etc - all im saying is so far he's been ok for me but not much better than that. He could/should improve but imo he needs to

He's like a shrimp man, I'd definitely punt him, final ball isn't very good either, Forrest is a much better player

I think he is a decent sqaud player. He has the pace to beat a man but it just seems to be his composure on the ball that let's him down, wether it be a cross or a chance infront of goal. I think he has more in his locker.

He can cross, shoot, has a bit of pace, can pass and can beat a man. Going through a bit of bad form just now. Not a McGeady or a Nakamura but is a direct winger who could be/has been useful for us.

If u see my previous post i dont rate McGinn either. But why do u think Forrest is so good? He's young and open to improvement but i dont think he's ever done anything that good so far. He's been ok like, but no better.

Im not saying u personally, but i often think alot of people on here when they see a young Celtic supporting lad come through want him to be good so badly that they convince themselves he's better than he is. Now im not saying Forrest wont become good but i dont think he's been brilliant so far

what games are you watching when hes excellent,i also thought he was going to be a star but like many others he has stopped progressing. When this happens you have to replace them when at the end of the day we are celtic and we should not accept average players like the huns.

Think the joke's on you this time, the boy is talking sense. McGinn is mince, forgot he was even on the pitch for most of the game yesterday.

Compare what Forrest was like pre season to until he got injured, he was arguably one of Celtic's key players at the start of the season. He's still got a wee bit of improving to do since his injury knock and to be fair has been pretty pish since he came back but he is still stronger, faster (maybe), and has a better end product that McGinn IMO.

22 isn't that young mate. 17, 18, 19 i'd have that opinion but at 22 i think you should be close to the finished article

It's like Marcellus Wallace said to Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction...."If you were going to make it, you'd have made it by now!"

Fair point with the injury mate. I was overlooking that. I agree he's better that McGinn but jury is still out for me. I just think some people get a bit carried away with him cos he's young, home grown and supports Celtic

Aye fair enough it's hard not to get excited but I think he'll grow to a player better than McGeady if all goes well

He's been poor for the last 5 games or so, personally I don't rate him although he has played well a couple of times.

    He's not 22. He's nearly 24.
