Landry N'Guemo is fighting for a permanent deal he says..

"I hope my future is at Celtic,". "But I know I must improve, I'm only on loan at the moment, so I have to show what I can do and I will do my best".

"I have to show I am able to play here, then we will see what happens."

I think we should rap up the £1.5Million deal before he goes off for the African Cup of Nations, I think in the last few weeks, he's settled in well, in our midfield, he is a solid player & playing week in, week out now, & for the price we are getting him, its a good deal I think..

I don't think we should sign him to be honest...we have a lot of well and able central midfielders. Brown, Crosas, Robson, Zhi, and Yong would all get the nod before N'Guemo for me. It'd be a waste of 1.5 million pounds to just have him sit on the bench. Hope BTM sees this.

I would take him over Broon, Robson and Zhi, I think we should build a young team so our top 3 center mids should be Crosas, Ki and N' Guemo.

Landry showed renewed determination today and was fighting like a tiger for every ball. Keep it up Landry and you will get that deal :50:

Like him, always have. He had the initial honeymoon period with the fans then was sketchy for a few games, particularly his passing and suddenly he was apparently useless.

He runs all day long and his short passing is top notch, at that price we would be silly to turn it down. He is worth that all day long and will have excellent resale value as well.

Agreed - I think we should give him his deal.

At present prices, 1.5M is a bargain for a player of that potential.

Deserves to be signed, has done a very good job for us. Without exaggareting, he should be in first team every week. £1.5M is joke of a price, we've spent more money on much worse players. I hope Mowbray decides to sign him, that would be smart move.

It's ironic that the cheaper players TM brought in have been good, whereas Fortuné has been pretty hit-&-miss so far.

In some ways Landry reminds me of Rino Gattuso in that pit bull attitude that just won't let go of something.

I am going to will him on to succeed because this might be Robson's last season for us, and we need to be able to replace him like for like.

Obviously he sees things very differently as N'Guemo has been a fixture in our team. Quite rightly so, as he's been our best central midfielder by a long way this season.

Sorry Bhoys but i dont agree, yeh he puts in a the effort and yes his short passing is good but i never see him create anything. Ok i know its not his job to do this as he's more of a sitting midfielder but playing teams in the SPL we need central midfielders who can create.. My two would be robson and ZZ until Jan

He loses possession more than any other midfielder I know. His passes are slack. I understand that he's got the drive to fight and try to get the ball back after he loses it, but he loses it nonetheless.

I wouldn't say this, as Tony Mowbray's been quoted saying that N'Guemo needs to earn his contract here. Which implies that he's not completely sold on him yet. So no, it's not so obvious.

He's played well the last few games, like in the first few games I seen him in,I think we should sign him up for 1.5 mil

Well worth 1.5 million. On his good days he looks a player who could play at any level. He is very inconsistant and has flaws like hitting hospital passes and other long forward passes that are just not on rather than playing the safe ball. However, that can be stamped out of his game. We simply cannot afford finished products any more. The fee is low so its not a gamble. You get SPL players going to modest Emglish teams for more so its really not a lot of money. On his good days he looks like a 3-4 million pound player who could play in the EPL with little difficulty. I do not feel the same way about Crosas who IMO still has a lot to prove.

Is there anything surprising about a manager saying that a loan player has to impress him in order to gain a permanent move?

Actions speak louder than words, N'Guemo has played as many, if not, more games than any other player in the squad.

I don't know how any more obvious it can be that Mowbray doesn't agree with your opinion that Robson, Crosas, Brown and Zhi should be in the team ahead of N'Guemo, when none of these players have dislodged him from our starting line-up.
