After a tremendous first season in the Swiss Super League, playing for Yverdon Sport, which was unfortunately relegated after the play-offs, Franco-Malian midfielder Moussa Baradji is expected to move on this summer.



According to Africafoot, Sunderland has contacted the 24-year-old's representatives.

Hard to say when he is playing in the C league in Italy. Looks powerful, shades of Wanyama there too. But it's a huge step up from Serie C to Celtic. Maybe he has the mindset? Maybe he is seen as a quick learner? We know nothing about all this. I am sure Rodgers will be sounding out all this. He has obviously been offered to the club by some random agent. I am #meh on this. We CAN do better, we have the money. That aside, we NEED someone to play the 6 role as McGregor can't play 60+ games a season for much longer.

 

Serie C?? That doesn't exactly inspire me with hope this guy is any decent.

His performances in Serie C got him a move to the Swiss league, and his performances in the Swiss league have obviously alerted a lot of clubs.
