Going to be working there in the next few week and months, whats it like? I must admit don't really know much about the place apart from it being the start of the West Highland Way, anyway any good pubs, places to eat, and I may stay over from time to time, so need info on b+b's/hotels and of course what kind of nightlife does the town have?

Buy a pipe from skelleto and go down the local and have a jolly old chin wag with some of the auld yins and sample some fine liqueur.

Dont think there is much actually in Milngavie, my Granda stays in Hardgate which is not too far away and drinks in the Goldenhill on match days.
Dont think it would be too bad in terms of a taxi etc

I live in Bearsden near it so know a bit about it. It has absolutely * all nightlife anyway that's for sure, there's a couple of pubs which will show games but that's about it. Decent amount of Restaurants and the like, has all the sorts of shops, facilities and the like in the town centre that you'd want as well which is quite good. Only issue is that, like Bearsden, it's generally a Rangers area, although these days that's not so much of a problem. :50:

Ive been there a few times not far from me, its small. The town centre bit is small but has a few restraunts and pubs with decent food and a greggs and stuff, a chippy, no nightlife or anything though quite a quiet place I think.

If you need a haircut though there must be about 4/5 hairdressers/barbers in the wee town centre bit :56:

Its only a 10 minute walk to Sevco's Training Ground, or 2 minute drive.

It's ridiculous isn't it, been to some amount of parties in which people have swimming pools and things like that. Just a shame that most of the time there's posh wanks all about the place to ruin it.
