Message to Celtic FC: Time to leave Scotland

Just back from Vegas after McGregor fight where I had the usual conversations with fellow supporters before getting round to talk about the Celtic. I was struck by the consistency of the points made about how its now time Celtic leave Scotland! Not for the usual money money money jargon but because of the SFA Rangers relationship which is spilling out via a double edged M Ashley/HMRC razor blade (I don't need to list the examples, read previous pages).

I was always a staunch Celt for not leaving in the past and preferred the SPL easy entry to Europe and a massive amount of pride in that but this last few months I have changed my mind completely (something which I never thought I would do) to making the jump to another country's lower league and patiently climbing tables.

I totally agreed with other Celtic fans opinions that the dark force in Scotland was kept strong for decades by a sugar coated bigotry main stream media! I don't even like to think about some of the disturbing things I have read in the tabloids and heard over the airwaves.

To keep this as short as possible, Celtics statement expressing surprise comes up short. We have seen a slither of what has happened in the past (how far back??). At present we are seeing the nonsense under the carpet sweep with silly story after silly story from the SFA move along. The next question is: Is a fair sporting league attainable if we put it to the test and win league after league...answer is a * definite NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I call on the associations of the celtic supporters clubs to call a extraordinary meeting to discuss their support in making that difficult jump to a lower league outside Scotland - one which we were afraid to make all along but now we have too! or else we can only blame ourselves for every cheat against us in the future! Send a message to Celtic Fc and the rest of Scotland about how bad things have turned out!

The Club has made efforts to get in - the English FA has refused us twice (I think). David Davies has outlined it would give us the advancement from the external lucrative deal to preferment ourselves at a degree that the top 4 of England would sends chills down there spine.

The irony is these are the same people whose favourite phrases are 'Rangers are deed' and 'There's no old firm'.

 

I know this topic is raised quite often, and many will be bored with it.

But I think it's imperative that Celtic find a route to escape Scottish football.
