A mate of mine is over from Oz and is planning to come to Celtic Park to see his team humbled by Celtic tomorrow (I hope). He is talking about going for a pre-match beer near the ground and I may even be persuaded to go meet him before the match (can't see him talking to me after as I am sure we are going to win in style tomorrow). He is asking if there is a pub where away fans can go without hassle - I don't go to the pub often these days but the ones I used to go to were always 100% Celtic fans with maybe a few local regulars here and there. Springfield Vaults was mentioned (haven't been in there for 12 years myself and I don't even know if it is still open as I never walk past it). Any advice on "mixed" pubs welcomed.

I was in the Springfield Vaults the other day, one part was loud and rowdey but the other room was more quiet and friendly.

Prince Charlie up West Muir street is where I go quite often, It's normally rather calm and couldn't imagine any bother with a Hibs fan.
