    the guys thinks hes too good to come on trial!

    Marques is baulking at the prospect of having to come on trial, believing his CV is good enough to earn him a straight deal.
    His agent Manuel Ferrer said: "Celtic have made a proposal for Fernando to go on trial for a few days.
    "However, he is unsure about this.
    "It's normal in the UK for players to go to a club for a trial. In Spain and Europe they do not do this kind of thing often.

    he was on loan at wba last season! never noticed him tbh! dont know what he is like.
    but saying that i think mogga cant be too 100% on him to offer him a trial after working with him last season?

    I recall us offering Rivaldo a trial when MON was in charge and he laughed at us. :rolleyes:

    He wouldve came as well and said he was prepared to stay within our wage structure, but was insulted at the thought of coming on trial.

    If they are good enough - sign them!

    A club of Celtics stature should know enough about players to make a decision in this day and age.

    if we are to bring any other player in ....... they must atleast be better than what we have at present....lately its all younger lads and "ones for the future" except for Fortune that is...dont know too much about this guy

    Make him take the trial, and if he is good, sign him, if is a a locker room cancer, screw him.
