Im not gonna get stuck into him here so dont worry, I know some peole will answer he's *. I do believe he is a good player, or we wouldnt have bought him..

I did look at some vidz of him when we signed him, I know people will say, Dont go by youtube videos to see how a player will be, I agree with that, but this was just a video of his goals for Nancy.. & he scored some crackers from really tight angles, just took a touch & smashed it home. & you seen him at WBA in the Premiership, he does have quality, its just frustrating we aren't seeing it from him at Celtic..

There is no room in the SPL to stop, turn & then slot your shot, its fast paced, & you have to act quick, you need to be skillfull & strong to hold off players if you want to stop & turn before taking your shot, otherwise, the ball will be taking off your toes, as it has been for Fortune today..

Its maybe a confidence thing with him, I dont think its cos of his injury, he has been back for a number of weeks now, Match Practice, you could say I spose, but he should be up to speed now. & for £4Million, you aren't giving time to settle, you have to come in & perform, or im afraid, you won't fit in at Celtic.. I do think he does have some talent, I just wish we get to see it.

    What do you guys think?

    We once bought Kenny Miller..

Anyway, i'll give him a few more games before making my mind up about him.

Disastrous performance today. He missed few good chances and ruined our only chances to score. I can understand injury, he has just recovered from it, but this is getting ridiculous. I was defending him earlier and I've seen occasional signs of quality in his play, but now he's getting worse. I don't think he'll make it here, poor buy by Mowbray.

He is good at what he does which is work hard and drag defenders into the channels. At this moment in time, especially with McDonald playing utter *, we don't need a 4 million quid striker that's afraid to shoot though and that's exactly what he is.

I've defended him previously, but today I will say it. Fortuné is a * disaster of a signing, pretty much on the level of Scheidt, especially given the current finances. A * utter shitehawk who we'll have to bung off to get rid off. No * technique at all. McManus with more pace, played up front.

so far he looks the biggest waste of money since Raphael Jobbies. Why the * did Mowbray buy an oddball player who is not really a striker when we lacked a quality standard striker. Its all very well shelling out on awkward players like that if they are cheap/free like Miller of Riordan but 4 million is criminal misprioritisation of funds! Are we going to get 4 million pound CB in and a 4 million proper CF? I cant see the board doing that. Fortune looks a luxury player.

It's ok firing out £4 million on diddies when you're Chelsea or Real. That £4 million, like it or not, is the best part of our transfer budget for the year.

If the board ever need a noose to hang TM by, that is it.

Ludicrious thing to say. Were Virgo, Du Wei and Rafael good 'because we bought them'?

He is the worst striker I have ever seen in a Celtic shirt. 3.8m in this day and age is the equivalent of 10 million in 2000, pathetic.

I meant for the money we paid for him & the fact that Mogga had worked with him before, you would have expected him to be a good signing, wouldnt you?

4mill? He is a goat! I think we've been done too.

Players available for less than 4 mill:

Noel Hunt, can score goals in SPL
Steven Fletcher, considering he can score in the prem, 2.5mill left us 1.5 mill over
Chopra, went to Cardiff from Sunderland for less than 3 mill I think!

To spend 4mill on a player on the basis that Mowbray had him on loan for 6 months and he scored a few in the EPL, isn't good enough. That and 67 goals in well over 200 matches isn't a great goals to game ratio. I prefer Sammy to him!

The guy could not hit water if he well out a boat.

No wonder we cant score when our strikers are hardly in the 18 yard box.

Bad show today for our "star" striker. Saying that i'll reserve judgement on the lad till he gets himself a goal or two. He's not exactly playing with quality players, but celtic should be head & shoulders above our opposition, not the case so far this season! * right off!! :38:
