Anyone else think they've totally underachieved in this years premier league? I thought they were going to win it tbh with all the players they bought or atleast compete for it.

I quite like the City team just now but i can't help but blame Mancini for them not achieving what i expected them to do this year.

If they lose the FA cup theres no doubt he'll get sacked imo

 

not underachieved imo, only because the other teams around them have settled squads, and it can be hard to gel a bunch of players, i expect them to finish in the top 3 next season, competing for the title

 

I agree with you 100%, Mancini has not done a great job with the talent of players he has, I do like the fact we got rid of Adebayor to RM, and picked up Dzenko. Just the chemistry isn't there yet with the players on the field. Also Tevez getting injured hasn't helped much either, still imho the best ST/CF in EPL.

 

Dzeko hasnt been given a proper chance IMO, i think he could become an important player for them next season

 

I will say though Mancini deserves another year or 2 though, depending if he wins the FA cup this year and can finish us Top 3 next year.

 

Slowly but surely their creeping up and I think they'll be challenging next year to be honest not so sure about Liverpool though but i do hope i'm wrong.

 

Tevez imo is the best striker in the premier league aswell along with wayne rooney, BUT he has a terrible attitude these days. I personally think he's played his last game for City...

 

Proof, you can't buy success per se. The team has got a lot of talent, but lacks heart.

 

Aye he's a clinical scorer, Mancini needs to do a better job implementing him up front with Tevez, I believe they need to change to a 4-2-2-2 next season if they want to get results from both him and Tevez.

 

one of many reasons barca are so successful imo, 8 of the first team trained by and probably love the club, plenty of heart in there

 

Maybe, I know he really wants to return to Boca Jr's and play at home in Argentina where his family is at, so only time will tell, hopefully he stay's though.

 

I think with the money they have and the players they've got, they should've been challenging for the title this year.

No doubt they'll go on another super signing spree this summer and will get better players in as they will probably be playing in the CL.

I think they might win it the league next year.

 

That's very true, how many of them players actually enjoy and are proud to throw on a Man City kit. It's hard to give your heart to a team that's been 2nd tier most of it's club life.

never like them who began being competetive due to their eastern patronisers despite i dislike United i realy hate City

 

I hope not, he's a quality manager and all, but his antics would only hurt City.

Think the man city team has something missing, they don't play as a team ever most the team run about like headless chickens! Dzeko up front with tevez would be brilliant. Just need some better service in to the box

 

Dzekos been awful since he came, i know it takes time to settle in but for a guy who came over with so much hype i expected more than hes given so far. Same with balotelli.
silva and yaya have been very good though.
