Wait, wait... at Celtic Park? Nobody gives a *, take those banners home you tards.

You're right, it's probably BBB. Zoran Mamić is chairman of Dinamo Zagreb - famous for being a nutjob on press conferences, pro-Croatian stance and match fixing. I understand why they want him out, but Parkhead isn't the place for that.

there was a banner written in serbo-croatian today in the north stand saying "mamicu odlazi" which is roughly "go away mamicu" in english, apparently something to do with dinamo zagrebs chairman

Mamić is a thief, pure and simple. I'm sure you've all heard of Vedran Ćorluka, Eduardo (diving *, that's the one), Luka Modrić etc.

They made some fantastic players and sold them for unreal fees (at least unreal for this region). Earning roughly €50m in first two years and few more millions after, they were expected to strenghten the squad and make serious impact in Europe. If not in CL, then at least EL. However, like in whole Balkan, mafia is there where money lies. Club boards are full of them. Whenever there's large sum of money involved, vultures gather and blatantly take their cut.

Mamić is perfect example of downgrading club with enormous potential, especially with such (potential) budget.

Not to mention match-fixing, but that's story for another day...

That language doesn't exist for good 20 years.:50:

EDIT: Did banner look something like this?

Ridiculous to have that at Celtic Park regardless of how big of a * Mamic is and yes, he's a pretty big one.

At CP? FFS, the hate for Zdravko Mamić has gone global.:56: Aye, he's a deluded megalomaniac, match-fixing *.

there are many croatians living in Scotland .could be that one is a mad Celtic fan who just happens to keep in touch with whats what in his homeland

.shouldn't use Celtic park or a Celtic game to highlight a cause..in my opinion

Though I am from Zagreb, and though I hate Zdravko Mamić, I am not a fan of Dinamo. But, believe me or not, I personaly met few Bhoys who enjoy coming to Zagreb, their friends here are members of BBB who also often go to Glasgow. I think those guys took that banner to show some support. Few years ago BBB and many Ultras all over the Europe put banners of support to ultras of Austria Salzburg when Red Bull took over the club and changed it's name, I guess some people do not care.

    Anyway, this is Mamić:

I don't think any other stadium apart from Maksimir is appropriate for that kind of stuff. Maybe Dinamo away fans in HNL, but that's optional. This is not the first time people use Celtic to express their non-Celtic related views. To be honest, they should * off with that, there's no place other than Croatia for that.

By the way, Mamić is insane man. He spouts incredible amount of * during interviews and press conferences. Amusing nevertheless.:icon_mrgreen:

Here in Croatia there is a opinion that BBB has very good ties with Celtic fans... I know a few of the top boys in BBB and they have no relations with Celtic fans although they always look at Celtic as a club that is connected with Croatia in some way. Mostly religious..

But I do know a few guys that are going to Celtic games as often as they can...

You my friend are illiterate.. You should lern a thing or two before posting...

No need to blame the guy, it's tough to catch all the changes in the Balkans. :celt_2:

So, the banner is in Croatian, says "Go Away, Mamic! United for Dinamo".
Mamić is an antediluvian football gangster, yet always amusing at his press conferences.
And that banner has no place at CP.
