McGeady. Great to give the ball to and release pressure off the team. Both flatter to decive at times though.

Maloney can be more of a team player at times and brings more variation into his play. Offers more goals, too. EDIT: He is also a very good impact player when coming off the bench.

But McGeady on his day can leave them on their arses single handedly and there's no doubt he can skin a fullback out of the game. The tricks are also a joy to watch.

It would have to come down to fitness and form, personally.

During the McGeady suspension, people were calling him the best player at the club, never mind comparing him to Maloney. Where are they now??

There is little between them at the moment so form and fitness would dictate selection for me too.

Depends on form mainly, or who we are playing, each offers something different tot he team.

Easy decision. Maloney is a far better player. I'm never confident of a victory with McGeady starting. He'd be a better sub imo.

Maloney gives us goals, pens, passing, assists and fouls.

McGeady gives us fancy tricks and loses the ball most times he's on it. Never looks up to find a pass and gets knocked off the ball. He's better on the right to be fair but nowhere near as good as Nakamura. The only way he beats Maloney is that he can shoot with his left foot for some reason.

This season also with McGeady out of the team, we went on our best run under WGS. Our form has dipped in a big way since losing Maloney. I could also throw in the Rangers and Falkirk games where AM was suspended which we won.
