Maloney or Mcgeady

Agreed entirely. I want BOTH playing without any doubt - would scare the living * out of the majority of opposition. For me, it means dropping Naka though, and bearing in mind we are trying to keep him for as long as we can that means first team football the majority of the time...

 

To be fair, Maloneys' "honeymoon period" isn't just based in wishywashy emotions... he has produced this year and played very well for us. In the games he has disappeared, you could say the same of both our other premiere wingers.
For me the in-form player is clear, but I don't think this is a clearcut situation where one should definitively be the starter -- and I think the majority of posts in this thread reflect this evolving nature.

I beleve away from home in europe it has 2 be mcgeady for his counter attacking threat! He is more capable than maloney at beating men and creating something from nothing. I think mcgeady is a better overall player, although maloney has started the season well, can be more effective and carries more of a goal threat, so it is very tough

 

Like a few folk I'd play both, Shaun on the left and Aiden on the right.

 

Maloney left, Mc Geady right and start them there a.s.a.p.

 

Personally id get rid of Naka and play mcgeady on the right, naka is a waste of space at times, he jogs about the park, is too light on the ball and is afraid to tackle, i know he has creativeness etc but he doesnt do it for me especially in the champions league.

 

Also, people seem to forget that mcgeady was by far our best player last season and because of a couple of bad games in pre season and start to the league people prefer maloney, some celtic supporters are definately sometimes quick to forget. Maloney is cracking player dont get me wrong but to prefer him over mcgeady already is a joke, some people need to remember what mcgeady has done for the club
