Judging by the interview with him after the game and the way he answered questions whilst holding back tears, it looked to me as though Naylor will leave in the summer when his contract is up

This would be a shame as i think Lennon has brought the best out of him since he introduced him back into the team and he is playing like he did in his first season and as much as i've criticised Naylor over the past few seasons, i feel we will miss him if he does decide to leave :54:

If Lee Wallace signs here on a free this summer, I can't blame Naylor for moving on.

Great first season, but never duplicated it. A hardworker who will be missed though...

I'm glad for what he's done for Celtic and he clearly loves it here, but I dont think he can perform consistently over a season to the same level he has over the last half-dozen games.

I reckon he's due a round of applause from everyone if he leaves.

really can't see the manky maroons entering into busines with us for wallace unless its at an extortionate price.romanov just doesn't like us and the only reason he sold hartley to us was he was one of the outspoken trio.

Would you have been shouting for Naylor to stay if he hadn't played well tonight? For me he has been average since Lennon brought him back in and he hardly kicked a ball for the previous 2.5 seasons so definately not worth a new deal in my opinion

Naylor is a limited player, lets face it how many times has he punted it in Row Z - ok he`s had a decent last 6 games but the pressures off we lost the league.....anyone who says keep him after watching his dire performances the last 2 seasons are kidding themselves and if Lennon is the manager he should say thanks and cheeerio to naylor and i hope he was kidding when he said McManus still had a part to play at Celtic ???? one step forward 2 steps back.

i saw the interview ,i dident see it the way you saw it tbh..although he never committed himself to celtic he never shut the door either but how could he ?i take it hes still talking with celtic over a contract ,he might be waiting to see what happens with lennon,he did say all of us love him "lennon" if lennon was to get the job naylor knows he will play so i wouldent say goodbye to naylor just yet

Naylor has came right into a game these past few weeks, might be worth another years deal, we could do worse

I'd keep him, under Lennon he's played well.
If Lennon doesn't get the job then I'd keep him as backup, but like he said in the interview he'll want first team football.

Naylor is a good player and has been a terrific servent to the club but I agree with you, he made it sound like he will leave but hey!! Who knows, he might still stay.

worth another short contract as competition to another LB IMO. He is a very good defender IMO but a very hot and cold attacker.

Good left backs are very very hard to come by for the prices we're working with - I think Naylor, as gunt said - should be handed another short contract.
