the difference between us and them is they can defend and see results out,,im all for silky attacking football but you have got to be able to defend,you look at any of the top teams world wide they all have strong defences,i know we are plauqed with injuries at the back just now but you still have to be able to defend because if the opponent cant score then they cant WIN.

I have read the same comments numerous times in earlier threads.

 

its quite annoying how we cant defend, i do blame the managers though, its no coincedence that mowbrays WBA team couldnt defend either, strachan could get mcmanus and caldwell to defend, albeit set peices were a nightmare last season, in open play we didnt concede a whole lot, yet mowbray seems to have turned them into nervous wrecks, he still need to get a balance in the team, nguemo has to stay in front of the defence all the time, something needs to change in the team, a tweak in tactics or player
