Considering Scotland are not even in the world cup I would say, no its not lets all laugh at England time, and it wont be for at least another 4 years.

I seem to remember last season when Celtic did not play well but still got the needed results everyone was saying “its games like this that win you trophy’s” Nothing different here, so do stop it with the double standards and anti English. Its very sad and embarrassing on behalf of Scotland and Celtic.

 

I fully disagree Andy. if a nation is as arrogant as england, it just provokates the negative feelings towards that nation. with a big mouth like them compared to their success, its everybodys right to laugh at them.

 

Just yesterday people on here where saying they believe Celtic can win the CL. So Celtic fans are aloud to be optimistic about Celtic but England fans are not aloud to be optimistic about England?

Just a slight hint of doubt standards their.

There is belief and confident that you can do well but England throughout the entire history of the World Cup have a level of arrogance they are better than any other team and they cannot believe it when they loose to a superior team, they find someone to blame for their 'failure'. No other favourite for the WC thinks like they do.

 

How do you know? Have you travelled to Argentina, Brazil etc and watched all the local TV channels etc?

Well Id that’s the attitudes and bigotry of the Scottish fans they deserve all the lack of success they get. Yes I am Scottish but very embarrassed to be so at the moment the way most Scots are acting.

 

Im not condoning bigotry, if I appear to be, that is not my intention.

I just hope the loose and loose badly because they deserve to. Its gas watching BBC, ITV and Sky Sports finding a scapegoat, they cant accept that they are not as good as they think they are. Whats wrong with that?

yup well im not an england fan but i must say that its not right to laugh at another country ... england is a great team and so is scotland and so on people should respect that .... but i do admit that england do go over the top when its comes down to winning

 

theres a minority who think celtic could win the champs league. i would call em optimistic. england got the "we are the biggest the best, better than the rest" attitude. for many years now. have never met a celtic fan with that attitude.

sure theres a similiar attitude in brazil or germany as well, but a) they won many trophies, not long ago, and b) you'll never have any trouble with brazil supporters, theres always a big party with them, where some of the english are always looking for trouble. (its an english minority as well).

this really suits england: The higher you climb, the farther you fall.

 

im pretty sure melbreg got the last touch..

and i dont really understand this thread, i mean england made the world cup and toped their group but scotland and ireland didnt even make it..

dont get me wrong ill be laughing when/if they lose their next match.. but lets not get carried away.. they might go far.
