They did do it though. O'Neill even defended Lenny's behaviour.

Immediate two match ban if I understand the reports right. So that should be Motherwell and St Johnstone in the stand.

So if I've got this right, Lenny's been let off for the incidents at Ibrox and before the St Johnstone game, and the 2 match ban is for his criticism of Collum? So what's happening about the incident with Conquer?

The Pope-abusing former refs chief Hugh Dallas was right about bullying. Brines & co are dishing it out & Lennon refuses to take it. #Celtic

think you'll find MON, SAF and the likes have all faced bans, one of the best managers today Jose Mourinho was only given a 2 or 3 (can't remember) game ban for gouging someones eye if that was Lennon there would be calls to get him kicked out the country

SFA, liars, cheats, bigots and colluders. How long must this happen to us (and only us) before our fellow fans accept it and join the rest of us, including Lennon in recognising that THIS IS PERSONAL.

See if you can find highlights of our Champions League defeat to Juventus in 2001 when they got that dodgy penalty in the last minute. Look at MON's reaction and tell me that's any different to the stuff we've seen from Lenny.

Either you've never seen either of those managers, you're at the wind-up or you're just insane.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon given two-match touchline ban

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has been given a two-match touchline ban following his recent criticism of referee Willie Collum .
Lennon was unhappy his side were not awarded a penalty by Collum near the end of Celtic's 1-0 Scottish League Cup final defeat to Kilmarnock.
A Scottish FA hearing also considered Lennon's conduct during Celtic's 3-2 defeat to Rangers on 25 March.
However, no decision has been announced relating to this second charge.
Lennon described Collum's decision not to award a late penalty as "criminal".
The following week Lennon was sent off by Calum Murray at the interval in the league defeat by Rangers at Ibrox.
The Northern Irishman was then written to by SFA compliance officer Vincent Lunny demanding an explanation for his comments about referees before a league game against St Johnstone.
And fresh charges are likely to be brought against the championship-winning manager following the Scottish Cup semi-final defeat by Hearts on Sunday.
After the final whistle, Lennon ran on to the pitch to confront referee Euan Norris, angered by a last-minute penalty that was converted by Craig Beattie to settle the tie 2-1.
Celtic first-team coach Alan Thompson later confirmed Lennon had been to the referee's room at Hampden.
Lennon later commented on the match via his Twitter account , ridiculing the penalty award and saying he believed some decisions awarded against his team were "personal".

I'm glad you're resting your case because it is bollocks.
