Yeah I was actually about to post that myself. If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen, I think Lennon has matured this season but if that's true he has to have a look at himself. His team has been * dreadful in the SPL this season, there are no two ways about that so he has to take it on the chin. Unacceptable behavior.

Being petulant. If people behind him give the team abuse for their performance, and I am assuming that's what it was, then he has to rise above it - not turn round and start arguing with them during the game and certainly not come on the radio and say what he said.

If he's said that it's very immature and unprofessional of him.

Because he gets rightly slated from a few fans? He should be begging for forgiveness after yet another home loss in the league, not threatning to leave.

I don't think he will quit any time soon. However, if he turned his back on us after all of the support that we've given him throughout everything he's had to deal with (bombs in the post, attacked on the pitch etc), then I hope he knows he would never be welcomed back by our support again and would more than likely be viewed as a turncoat.

I'll wait until I hear it for myself before I say anything else that I may regret.

'if the fans don't like me I may aswell quit' that is what he has meant to have said.

How in any way is that a perfectly fine thing to say by a professional football manager? If he did say it that is.

I hope you are being sarcastic.

I was sat right beside the dugout and he did take a fair bit of stick but nothing offensive or abusive. There were a couple of guys shouting 'get the finger out Lennon' and things to that effect. He's obviously * off and he's reacted, the ref's handling of the game was clearly winding him up as well - rightly so.

    Storm in a teacup.

Lenny needs to rise above this kind of thing.Of course we like him most fans i know worship the ground he walks on, but if the team are playing * then the paying punters have a right to voice their concern imo.
Although obviously i Don't know what was said to Lenny

In what way is that 'perfectly fine' to say? Also, I don't know how anyone could misconstrue those words and mistake them for meaning something else. If he's supposed to have said this, then it's quite clear he's thinking of quitting.

He did say around this time last year that he would have quit had we not come back from 3-0 down against Killie and so far, this season's domestic form has been worse than last season's.

It works both ways mate if a fan can have ago at him then he has every right to have ago back and after all Lenny has done for us you would think the fans would be more patient and not throw there toys out the pram after a few defeats we have no * given right to win every match but the some of our fans go on you would think we did
