I know he doesn't play for us anymore but what was your thoughts of him? I thought he was a decent player, good tackler and passer of the ball, sometimes a little too lary and I still remember when he kicked Fatty Boyd in the nuts:50:
I know we have a good midfield now but at the time when we didn't sign them should we have kept him?

He was a decent player but he continually gave the ball away, the cardinal sin for a midfielder.

Aye suppose, he's at Bordeaux now, obviously not done too bad for himself.

He had a lot of good qualities mate, worked hard, broke down a lot of the opposition's moves, he was effective as a spoiler.

Purely based on wat he did in the Hoops:

A decent midfield spoiler, but woeful distribution of the ball.

It is no coincidence that probably the most stable run of form that the Hoops had under Mowbray was from late November '09 to January '10, when the team was at it's most settled and in the midfield we had N'Guermo breaking up the play but could do little with the ball at his feet, partnered with Crosas - who had a good range of passing, but was most definately found wanting when the opposition had the ball.

If you could blend the 2 together, what a fine footballer that would make.

:56: My thoughts exactly..I thought someone had posted it in the wrong section.

I thought he was trash..then again I hated that Mowbray season so much I could just be a little rough in my judgement.

Crosas was the best delivery of a ball in scotland even the media commented on it!!! unfortunately he was too lightweight for the game i reckon if he was in any other league in the world he would have been a sucess

I liked him though he was pretty average and when it wasn't going for him he would be utterly dreadful ( ross county 1st half:31:) never had a settled partner, from brown, crosas to ki and zheng. was a tiny bit dissapointed we never got him but tbh he wouldn't get a look in now. goodluck to him elsewhere

He would have pulled the strings for us given the chance as his foot work was second to none! Never had a chance any time he was played in the team but worn his heart on his sleave!! * BLESS MARC CROSAS!!!

I kinda liked Landry N'Guemo if I'm honest. He was a bit hit and miss, and I can see why some people didn't like him, but I thought he was not bad at all. He did give the ball away a bit too much but I thought he tackled well and was a pretty good 'continuity' player.

He actually struck up quite a nice wee partnership with Marc Crosas in midfield. The best football we played under Tony Mowbray was when N'Guemo and Crosas played together. It still baffles me to this today why Mowbray split that partnership up.

I will say one thing though - the Ross County game finished N'Guemo at Celtic. He was worse than brutal that day and I think a lot of Celtic fans made their minds up that day that he wasn't good enough. Bit of a shame that people will remember him for that match really.

If he just accepted that he was a (boring) defensive spoiler instead of some kind of attacking Gerrard (like he fancies himself for his NT) he could've been something.

Great spoiler, full-blooded tackling and stamina, read the game decent too.

But the Hollywood passing was dreadful (even the short passes I guess) and perhaps the worst shooting I've seen this side of Scott Brown.

I saw him just recently and he looks to be playing further forward then he was here and he is just as awful now as he was then.

Thought he was a decent player and maybe under the right manager he could have excelled at Celtic.

He seems to be doing well over in France with getting a move to Bordeaux.

Really didn't like him. I was very pleased when Lennon didn't go for him.

I thought for a defensive midfielder his tackling was really poor. He was too lightweight for me and got pushed around a bit too much. His passing was woeful and he was bombscare on the ball.

i was gutted when we missed out on him. thought he was a decent player during a terrible time for us. would love him again as back up in midfield but that would mean seriously stripping down tat area of the field if we were to bring in another centre mid (some people think we need to do that already, which i agree with).
