Great to see Kris Looking back to his best, he will be a massive player for us this year.

I think he will score upwards of 20 goals over the course of the season, no doubt a few screamers into the bargain

I think Kris is 1 of our best players at the moment and to think we only paid 300k is amazing. When he has the ball he is capable of so much! Pin point crosses, long range drives, playing through balls to the team and his finishing is really good. Not to mention his free-kicks and corners which the latter is especially good.

When he's on the ball i feel like we could score.

I think so too. But i do believe he's a confidence player and you could see a difference in him almost immediately after that long range effort against county that the keeper saved with his knees. He looked more hungry for the ball and looked like he was gonna try and pop a few shots off. Hopefully he continues that going forward because he could be our best player.

one thing Commons brings to the team is great movement and a great ability to pick out a pass.

Forrest frustrates me big time as for all his skill he is often content to stand still and wait for a pass, whereas Commons is always moving trying to provide an outlet to receive a pass.

Great to see him back on form.

If Ki indeed leaves, Commons remain the only player consistently able to shoot accurately from long range.

Good to see him back on form and feel this is just the start of an amazing season for him, someone else made the point of him being a confidence player so the 2 goals should really set him up big time

How many goals from long range did Ki score last season?

:56::56: Aye, Mulgrew can't strike a ball at all can he?

Yes you were. A long-range shot is a long-range shot whether it's a free kick or not.

And are you seriously claiming that Mulgrew can't score from long range? :97:

lolololololololol, easy now. let me clarify - if (more like when) ki leaves, kris commons will be the only player on the team that can make good and accurate long range attempts on goal from liveballs. better?

im not saying mulgrew cant score from long range, im saying that a CB is rarely ever going to have the opportunity of making a long range attempt.

When Fully fit,he is our most productive and dangerous player.

Going to need some form from him in Europe

Ki wasn't much of a goalscorer for us, Commons is far more lethal.

Personally feel he could be more influential, still don't think he is really fit and too often tries things that are just not worth trying when a simple pass is sufficient. He lacks the pace to truly be a class player and too often loses the ball. That said in the SPL he is a very important player for us as he is a goal threat and shows invention that the majority of the rest of the team cannot. I agree that he is a player that thrives on confidence and goals once he gets a few in the onion bag im sure we will start to see the player he was before last season, not sure what happened to him really, think he felt he was a
better player than he was and after his twitter rant about his non selection then it all seemed to go downhill.

Promising signs this and the back end of last season and hopefully it continues

Isn't it 3 in 5? 2 league games, and our 3rd European game tonight.

I meant 3 in his last 3 games... which is correct is it not?
