Kris Commons back

Anyone think he looks like hes lost weight? he always looks fat but the day I noticed he was slimmer and that was with him wearing a jacket and bib.

Hopefully gets a goal and goes on a run again soon.

 

Yeah he does look slimmer, hopefully with a few matches he can get his fitness back and we will see him play like he did last season.

 

I was watching him closely today when he came on to see if there had been any noticeable difference in his physique and he certainly looks more like the player we signed last year, both physically and mentally.

It's great to have him back and let's hope he can recapture the form that he was showing in the title run in last season

 

Liked the way he held up the ball when Celtic were fighting for possession near the end of the match. He also made a few nice tackles and had some nice link up play.

He could be a crucial player for us winning the tittle.

 

Looks strong and sharp.

 

Still looks chubby. Calmed us down a bit when he came on though.

 

Got stuck right in when he came on, personally I'd still prefer him in at LM ahead of Sammy so hopefully he can get some game time under his belt and get back in the side regularly.

 

If he gets back to himself he could be massive (* pun) for us in the run in!

I honestly can't believe there were people on this forum shooting people down for saying Commons had put on a lot of weight. It could not have been more obvious. The guy had a massive belly round about the start of the Europa League. He mentioned he was attempting to gain more muscle so I suspect he was simply making a mistake with his diet and perhaps found it difficult to maintain the muscle which has then turned to fat.

He looked a lot slimmer today but he could still lose around half a stone. It's nice to see him back.

 

I wish I was as chubby as him.

 

Needs game time but great to see him back .

Could be a massive player for us coming into the final stages of the season.

 

I think he did the little things right today, and honestly, there was one instance where he was in the middle of the field and should have been passed to. Looking good so far...

 

Watched during the warm up he put in a bit of effort and looked to have a bit of pace about him again. chuffed for him thought he was excellent last year and a real threat

 

Looked good and composed when he came on. Hopefully fully fit now.

 

if he can hit the form he hit last year then that will be a massive contribution towards the league title.

Looked good when he came on. Showed a lot of fight for the team. Think he might feel he has something to prove to us and to himself.

Really do hope he gets back to form. Really good player on his day.
