Was in Krakow the other week there for a weekend *-up with the burd. Seen that there was a Wisla krakow v Gornik Zabrze game on so decided to get a couple of tickets. The ticketing system there is top class, £2 for a photo supporters card, the most expensive seats in the stadium were £8 for an * man, ladies were a fiver! Your ticket is scanned onto your supporter card so its just one swipe entering the stand and your in.
However, there was a big protest/boycott organised by the wisla ultras so the atmosphere wasnt great inside. Good football for the money. Could hear flashbangs and fireworks going off outside the stadium so decided to leave at half time and go check out the protest.
Turned one corner outside the stadium and seen a whole tree lit up in flares with plenty on the ground and flash bangs going off all over the place. http://ultras-life.net/wisla-krakow-fans-protest/
They had organised a bigscreen to watch the game on aswell. Got talking to a few folk, the protest was over gate bans/heavy fines for pyro/banning flags etc.

Overall we had a great time in and out the stadium, pretty much everyone spoke english and were friendly. Would recommend Krakow to anyone, great city and cheap as chips!

The Polish ultra scene is quite intimidating but they're renowned for violence against each other, not tourists, so I'm guessing a trip to watch a match there would be an enjoyable experience.

What was the quality of the football like?

Finished 2-3 to gornik but i would compare the quality to english championship level. For £7 a ticket its well worth it!
