The big man had a good game today with an excellent stop at the end to secure us the 3 points, I just feel far more confident with him in goal rather than Artur - get the feeling that a clanger isn't far away with him now, maybe giving Zaluska a run in the side will improve Artur's form. If The Holy Goalie wasn't so popular with the fans he'd be dropped a long time ago.

    Thoughts?

I thought he was pretty flakey today although pulled out a great, match winning save at the end. Boruc hasn't exactly done anything wrong for me, and I feel a bit more confident with Boruc in the sticks...

I think Zaluska is a magnificent goalkeeper and I wouldn't be adverse to Lucasz being given the gloves.

I have heard some informed talk that Boruc may be sold in January, and that we will invest the monies in procuring a top drawer centre back and striker. I am also hearing that Caldwell is getting sold too.

I thought he was excellent today personally and I feel confident with him there as well. Boruc will have a job displacing him I think although a top form Artur is still amongst the best keepers on the planet.

Two good goalies, good to have a bit of competition for the gloves but Artur for me is the number 1 at the moment.
If Boruc has a dip in form then I'd have no worries in handing the number 1 spot to Zaluska.

Aye maybe keep him in the sticks for the up coming game in the Cup against Hearts on Wednesday & the game against Killie at the weekend, but would bring Boruc back for the Hamburg game, but dont have a problem with Zaluska playing, hes a great keeper, but Boruc just edges him & as the Manager says Boruc has a couple of niggling injuries & deserves a rest, so would give him a week off & give Zaluska a wee run of games to help his confidence & get Boruc back raring to go again, tis all good :icon_mrgreen:

One fantastic performance and we should suddenly drop Boruc for Zaluska? Some people...

You're talking cobblers and I'm glad you're not the Celtic manager. :97::97::97:

Zaluska isn't the same class as Artur Boruc. One's a good goalkeeper and one is a great goalkeeper. Big difference.

He certainly didnt do himself any harm but I think you'll see Boruc back between the sticks soon.

He is a very good goalkeeper but versus an on-form Boruc there is no competition. Zaluska's ability to hold a ball also seems a little suspect.

i know!!! zaluska was solid though hardly fantastic, he wasnt really tested enough though that save at the end was excellent! :50:

good to have some healthy competition between the sticks for once and i reckon Zaluska will play wednesday but big athur will probably be back against killie

He looks confident and that's what will keep Artur in form, competition.

Also, my stream crashed in last 10 minutes, I heard he pulled out a wonder save... And how did Accies score?

I'v wanted Boruc to be dropped for over a year now, he was abysmal last season and the only reason he wasn't was because his deputy Mark Brown was even worse. Now we have a good solid keeper and I would like to see him getting a run in the squad.

I used to rate Boruc in the top 5 keepers in the world, he'd struggle to get in my top 30 now.

artur was mince last season.....but this season he's been fantastic.....i believe it should take more than a good ninety minutes to dislodge a guy whos gave so much to the cause.
zaluska will get his chance when sir alex comes a calling either in january or next summer.

He's been culpable for at least 4 goals this season - 2 against Rangers, Hearts and Vienna. Hardly inspiring stuff.
