Katie Hopkins has said she will follow through on her promise to streak naked through the streets of London with a sausage up her bottom following Sadiq Khan’s historic election as mayor.
The professional provocateur, who is famed for her acerbic opinions, pledged to undertake the bizarre stunt in the event Khan was elected.
In a reference to Khan’s Muslim religion, Hopkins confirmed that she would perform the ritual, but only with Halal-sourced meat.

Asked why the sausage had to be Halal sourced, the LBC presenter quipped:

On hearing the news of Khan’s election, Hopkins tweeted to allege turnout amongst Muslims was suspicious.

Clarifying, she said:

She made the original vow to steak - much to a mixed reaction - last Wednesday.
She promised:

If Sadiq Khan wins London, I will run naked down Regent Street with a sausage up my * in protest #LondonMayor2016

As Khan successfully fended off his Conservative opponent Zac Goldsmith, Londoners can expect to be graced with the sight of a nude Katie Hopkins jogging past Hamleys, Liberty, tourist-hotspot Piccadilly Circus and possibly one or two hot dog sellers.
Her promise comes after fellow newspaper columnist Dan Hodges kept his promise to streak naked down Whitehall if Ukip broke 6% of the popular vote in last year’s general election.
The party actually mustered more than 12%.
Hodges raised £1,000 for event in aid of the Terence Higgins Trust and Elizabeth’s Legacy of Hope.
It is not yet known whether Hopkins will make a similar donation to charity.
