Celtic will have to come up with a package worth more than £6million to sign Diomansy Kamara on a permanent basis from Fulham.
Interim boss Neil Lennon wants to retain the Senegal striker for next season if he lands the top job at Parkhead. But Sportsmail understands the English club would want a transfer fee of around £3.5m, following January’s initial loan deal.

Landry N’Guemo’s £1.7m price tag is likely to prevent a permanent move from Nancy and Edson Braafheid will return to Bayern Munich. Spurs star Robbie Keane, meanwhile, looks too expensive to keep.

In that case would let them go at the end of the season. Kamara is not worth that much, especially at 29. Undecided on N'Guemo, started to slip after new year. He mite improve but we should keep all options open. Braffheid, would have got him to * after the cup game never mind jsut fining him. ANd sadly Keane is too expensive and there is interest from EPL clubs for his signature, but we knew taht already

He has the right attitude and seems more than keen to stay at Celtic. However, £3.5m is a little steep in my opinion for a player of 29 - with no resale value.

I would like to keep him, with a slightly lower transfer fee.

3 million max- i would have him here tbh. A top class player. I would let the rest of them go. Start over.

    I agree....

Pass on N'Guemo..We can do better for less.

I think Kamara could score on a regular basis here, but his price needs to come down.

    Braafheid: 0 interest

Keane: too bad so expensive :54:

Kamara and Rasmusson will score a barrowload next season as a pairing.

If we can offload the disappointing Fortune it could be a goer:50:

Don't bother with any of them. Quite like Kamara but that fee (if true) is outrageous, N'Guemo is mince and the less said about Braafheid the better

if kamara fee was low could be worth a go but i think he is injury prone, nguemo is cold more than he is hot, keane cant afford him and cheerio to him

Aye what he said..though a Celtic fan can still dream of Keano on a permanent basis.

not just refering to fm lol.. but i thought the fee was set already at around 2 mil for Kamara? im sure it was in a few news papers too:97:

N'guemo looks like he could be a tasty player on a full time contract(sound of mind and that!)

Keane would just be dreaming too much, same kinda thing as the Bellamy deal.

I dont think braffheed would be the answer to our LB probs so he can go, gotta mention Samaras here tae... If he stays then im never going to go and pay to watch him lol dont think my heart could take it..

I would sign N'Guemo he is still young and 1.7 mil isnt that much when you think about it , Decent solid player who just cant pass but work on that and i beleive we have a cracking wee player.

£1.7m for an established international is a decent deal.

Landry has been great in some games, and less than impressive in others. I would spend £1.7m on him.

For a player that is 29, I think perhaps £3.5m is a bit much for him. £2m for Kamara and Fulham have got a deal :)

i would say Kamara is a good player but is hot and cold and i would keep landry and get rid of brown. but we still need to get some top players in.

I like Kamara but he needs to play as a striker rather than playing wide!

£1.5m for Kamara and it's a deal, anything above that and we'll get robed. £1.7m for N'Guemo is decent price, we shouldn't miss this chance. As for Braafheid, I don't think he could cut it at Celtic anyway, don't know how much he'll play for Bayern though.

Kamara needs a run of games. In the year he got a move to Fulham, he had scored 30 odd league goals in the champ for wba. Not all easy goals. He is capable of carrying the ball. He is lanky and quick- just what we want. I would spend 3 mill on him. He is worth it.
