True. But thats not the point. The point is, that in bringing a proven midfielder to CP, he must be given a chance. You might be a wee bit young, but I remember guys calling for Larrsons head after his first game at Celtic, when he set up a Hibs goal!
People need to be given a chance to settle in. Look at hately at the huns...for months he was pounded but he became a great player for them.

Aye anno, I think MON did not like him, he hardly got a start so how can he be expected to do great? When he came on as a sub he got about 10 mins, and he said himself he can't get into a game in that space of time. I really can't see why MON brought him here, to be the highest paid player in the team (i think) and not give him a decent run of games, he should have gave him this chance then decided if he was good enough or not.

How can you be capped 50 times for Brazil, and not make it in the SPL? Maybe he was past it, but I would have liked him to have a got a fair chance.

He tried his heart out any time he did come on. Hope everything works out well for him.

And one last thing, how the * did Camara get more starts than Juninho??

No way is he past it at 32. I would say he would be an asset if he was given a chance. History now. He is offskees.

Agree with you Hail Hail I always wanted to see the wee fella doing well and I feel he never really settled in up here and as you guyd have said it's hard to settle into a game when your coming off the bench every week. Good luck to him wherever he goes it's a shame he's leaving because had he been given a good run in the team and just found his feet, I feel he really could have became a bit of a name at Parkhead.

I think he was overrated to start with...

The only reason he came to CP was because he couldnt get a game at Middlesbrough...so therefore he was now pish.!

Not so. He might not have gotten a game at Boro because he was at odds with the manager, or the manager wanted a different style of play.

PISH....he never got a game cos they had better players...MON has proved yet again that his judgement in the transfer market is suspect...

Anyway..."great" players and world cup winners should have the ability to play different styles of football..he had the ability once...but lost it.

I disagree, obviously. But I agree on the MON blindspot. That is something he has to work on to be a truly great manager. All managers make bad decisions on the TX market, thats life but MON has bought some honkers.

    Flap Douglas
    David Fernades
    Guppy.
    Hedman.
    Camara

and continues to have soft spots for Agathe and Hartson who are truly awful.

    Bring back Dr.Joe

The tag "world cup winner" is basically useless unless your a proven world star. take kleberson for example, anytime i read something about him its always mentioned that "the world cup winner." though i'll give him credit, he's a proven bench warmer.
I agree with you BB, MON is a great manager of players and a very good coach, however his ability to pluck a great transfer out of nothing and his transfer dealings in general have been rather poor imo.

He should dump Thommo as well now..get something for him cos he is past it,,,along with the rest of the doughnuts mentioned above....and juninho's wages...should be able to get at least one decent player..

I would sell the whale now as well whilst he has no chance of a bosman. Sell him to Wigan or something

I think MON must have had a personal problem with Juninho. If you ever listened to him talk directly about him he never really talked highly of him. Think there must have been some issues there. To be honest, even when he got his 10mins at the end of a game he never really did anything of any not. If you look at what McGeady was doing when he got a wee 10-15minute spell at the end of a game. He was good against the huns on his debut but at least MON can see it's not working out (for whatever reasons) and is saving a bit of cash on his wages.

Good luck to the wee man.

And while he's departing from paradise, I dont think it's in his interests to put down the scottinsh game (see bbc.com) It's kinda like when capucho left the huns. Take a swipe at the spl?? they're the ones who failed to fit in and make an impact!! what does that say about them?

But hold on mate. the Scottish game is PISH! He got it bang on. Whether or not he fitted in is irrelevant. The SPL is a huge steaming pile of *, with flies on top.
