Julian Speroni (GK)

Just watching Crystal Palace take on Liverpool (HT 1-1) an noticed Julian Speroni in goals for Palace. I remember him from Dundee and always thought he was a decent keeper, did anyone else?. He has made a few great saves during the match, when we signed Sanchez-Broto from Livingston, I always thought Speroni would have been a better choice. It's good to see him doing well, not many leave a lower SPL team and prove themselves down south.

Talking of Sanchez-Broto, anyone know where he ended up? Last I knew he was at Spanish club Getafe, that was in june and he was saying Spurs were scouting him for a move in the summer. I think he was out for two months with a knee injury, is he still there???

 

Thought he was a decent keeper too, also thought the same about Broto at times, after his blunder against Hibs(i think) of course. Still think Broto is in Spain, no idea where though, haven't heard him mentioned in ages, he's got to be quite old by now though, isn't he?

 

Broto must be at least 34! Speroni has just pulled off another great save for Palace (1-1 ,64Mins)

 

Seen his save from Harry Kewells shot, thought it was destined, but Speroni made a really good save. Anyway, love seeing small teams beat big ones, so, well played to Palace
