    French club Lille are set to launch a £5million bid for Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic.

    The troubled Liga 1 side are rebuilding after the departure of coach Marcelo Bielsa and a narrow escape from relegation in the final weeks of the season.

    Tipped to finish in the top five, Lille escaped the drop after scraping into 17th place. The threat of an administrative relegation imposed by the DNCG, the financial 'policemen' of the French game, was also lifted earlier this month.

    Fair price, would sell so long as we have someone to come in before qualifiers. If not keep him until we play them all. Too risky to sell a good defender when we could get injuries during pre-season.

    Taxi for Jozo! Or I will drive the big man there myself for 5 million.

    I like him he has had some fantastic games for us but goes to sleep plus can't play so many games in a row.

    Made of a glass a bit, and he will suffer with more injuries as he gets older, if we can cash in on him now that would be great buissness, that's if he can pass a medical of course.

    Still no idea if Jozp is good or not. Thought he was our best centre back, then after all that refused to play rumour he seemed a bit pish.

    Loved him at first,think he is a good player. Want to see him do well here, but to be honest he didn't get enough game time last season that deserves him being in the starting line up. Weirdly that's ajer and boyata. Compper and Hendry as back up. I'd sell Jozo for 5 million, happily. But would want someone strong and of calibre to come in.
