I’d pay the money before Leverkusen snoop in and turn his head, they’re surely going to keep an eye on him after rinsing their back line

Jotas going to continue being a big problem for teams.

he is a real live wire and always looks forward and to create. He has a bit of quality about him too. The thunderous shots he is hitting are no fluke.
Should look to make that move permanent sooner rather than later.

Can see it coming we don’t activate the clause in the contract due to the board being tight fisted *.

They say we tried etc and then he goes back to Benfica and is sold for double.

I think its possible he doesn't want to stay. Bigger clubs could approach his agent.

We'll do well to have him playing for us for any length of time.

His first touch is always perfect. Even if it rattled in to him in a tight space. What a player.

I suppose the only question over him was whether he’d be okay moving to Scotland, playing regularly, playing under pressure etc.

I think we’ve seen enough to know he’s not got those issues, at least.

Talent and quality should’ve been established before he was brought in, and of course nothing yet to contradict that.

So we should get the deal done.

Probably his poorest game but was there in the clutch.

Was shocked at how big he made that Ramsay look :giggle1:

For approx £5m, he's an absolute bargain. He's a lovely bloke, seems to be delighted to be here and looks to be a fantastic find.

    * buy him!

Now that the crowds are flocking back to football, the travelling Celtic fans are really letting the new Bhoys know exactly what it’s like playing for Celtic.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Joe Hart was amazed to see three quarters of an away stadium filled with Hoops supporters, something he said he’d never witnessed before in all his years of experience in the game down south and abroad,

And now, not only was Jota left almost speechless with the visiting Celtic fans in the 2-1 win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie, it was made all the more personal because his family and girlfriend were among the ecstatic Celtic crowd.

The scorer said: “That was an amazing feeling, I’ve never seen something like this, and my family was in the middle of them, so I’m just waiting to get home and ask how they felt, because I think they have never experienced something like this.”

He told Celtic TV after the game: “I’m very happy that we could win this game, we were looking to win this game with our process and our ideas, and it was definitely a hard game that brought us the victory.

‘I’m delighted to have scored the winning goal, but I only did that with the help of the team, because we are a strong team and we fight for everything.’

“I’m just glad that I’m in this amazing group of boys that fight for each other, and I got the goal, so I’m very happy.”
