what you guys think ? surely worth a proper chance now considering how poor we are at the back !! my first choice the now is mulgew and either loovens/rogne but would like to see hooiveld back in jan and giving his run of games to prove himself !! weve gave the likes of Maj enough chances !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's all talk and no action, I wasn't impressed with him in the few he started, turned far too easily and looks a bit nervy on the ball I found.

I think he deserves another chance but I don't think he will get it.

Agree with everything he said, was never given a run of games up here. By all accounts hes been great down south in a tougher league than ours.

If it guarantees that Maj never gets another game then I'd take him back.

i bet he never went down to southampton and shouted his mouth off though

he raised expectations and disrespected celtic and the scottish league by all his big talk

and then was * for us and was surprised he was left out of the team

what is it about the dutch and having big * mouths they seem to breed arrogant as * footballers

i pserosnally dont think the defenders we have are as bad as people make out

what i think happens is that they get exposed more because the team doesn't defend from the front and midfielders are lacklustre about tracking runners

how can you say that when every other day theres a thread about maj and glenda not being good enough !! they have been given chance after chance and theres a guy that has went and played for the leaders of a championship (probs a better league that spl) and hes not deserving of at least a chance to prove himself up here !! if we recalled him in jan at least we have a fit and inform defender which hopefully can benefit our team ! and then can judge him on the back of those performaces !

I've said numerous times he isn't good enough but I've been speaking to a few English mates and the general consensus is he is one of the best players in the Championship never mind defenders.

If that is the case bring him back in January.

Admittedly he's never done much that I would call memorable for us, nor has he to be fair given much of a chance. But it does annoy me when players play * up here and when out on loan can turn into good/ very good players.

Always felt myself this bhoy could do a job given a decent run. Don't know why so many seem to have negative opinion of him. Don't want to start laying in to our current team but for me he us better than loovens. Probably better than maj too, this bhoy has had a really raw deal with his celtic career and I how he goes on to prove his worth with our club!celtic career

    Yeah it's the midfield's fault, the striker's fault, the pie seller's fault, Lennon's Auntie's Cousin's Granny's fault,

    everybody but the defence.........

Yeah right! The defence, or rather certain players on the back four have been truly shocking. It's a sad day when you cite your defensive problems as starting at the strikers :87:

Never been given a run of games to see how good he is when he is match sharp. Then again, I could say that about Rasmussen and Juarez to a lesser extent as well.

    No he didnae.

The gutter press in Scotland continually took his comments out of context to make him look arrogant, just as they have continually taken Lennon's quotes out of context. If I remember right big Jos was quite angry about how the media were spinning his interviews.

He's been a very good defender everywhere else except here, which leads me to think that he was simply lacking in fitness and confidence as he said. Either that or putting on a green and white top hypnotises defenders into being pish (which would explain things).

'I think we have got a similar way of playing as Copenhagen last year, and they went into the final 16 of the Champions League. I don't think there's a big gap between us and Copenhagen.'

thats what he said lol !

hopefully when we get a new management team they recall ALL the loan players and everyone from top to bottom gets a chance to prove themselfs. then get rid of the deadwood in summer. this seasons looking a rightoff so at least get the foundations right for next year

The guy has been a stand-out in a better league than the SPL, and he is well appreciated by the Saints fans I know, which he never got whilst at CP.

Him and Rogne may well be worth a chance.

you would just drop mulgrew then ?

i think mulgrew could turn into a very very good player for us and imo you've always got to have some very good scottish players in a successful celtic side

Was never really given a chance up here! Perhaps a run of games, playing in a settled defence and he would do a job!

Unless we bring him back and play him regularly, we'll never know!
