    So Johnny Hayes, would he be an upgrade on gms yes no doubt.

    Would he be an upgrade or replacement for paddy not a chance.

    Would he be worth £1m plus send gms and christie on loan up there next seasom the aye for me

    He'd certainly be an upgrade on GMS - which isn't exactly saying much. If Rodgers just wants cover then fair enough, but I hope we're aiming for better than Hayes.

    I think we will be aiming higher but he has pace, creativity nd can ping a ball for me its a goer defo upgrade on gms for spfl

    I can see why Rodgers would be interested though, if indeed he is. Hayes is rapid, works hard, can whip in a cross and has a thunderbastard of a strike.

    Didn't realise he was approaching 30..

    If he was to sign, I imagine it'd be as backup only and for about a mill or just under. Pretty versatile, both wings or wing back. Even seen him at left back I'm sure before..

    Decent player as cover but nothing more. We're needing an outstanding right winger if Paddy doesn't return. Jonny Hayes isn't that guy..

    A great rotational winger to have. Can play both sides, has all the attributes Rodgers would want. I think he'd push Sinclair and Forrest for a starting spot as well, unlike GMS. If the price is right, I say yes.

    He had him at Reading as well I think and likes player's he's worked with before..

    Hayes is by far the sheep's best player. It's blatantly obvious..

    Could do a job and more domestically but we can do a lot better..

    Think it's just typical lazy journalism after yesterday to be honest..

    To be fair, he is still fast as * even at 30.

    Has a good attitude, and has ALWAYS been a thorn in our side.

    Wouldn't be the worst signing if he came for peanuts, and was purely back-up.

    Oh, and he's Irish.

    Yeah Rodgers has been very complimentary of him. Just read this from a couple of weeks ago, Rodgers by the way...

    I wouldn't be shocked if there is something in it.
