    Roger Hannah knows hee haw.

Scott Burns probably does too but he said schlupp wouldn't be the only signing.

So I'm going with him. Thanks.

He'll need to mate if Idah is all we have. I'm not sure Kenny will get much game time in important games and there's obvious question marks if he's good enough. Leaves us woefully short.

CELTIC look to have missed out on two more potential replacement for Kyogo Furuhashi in the final hours of deadline day.

The Japanese striker left for Rennes in a £10m transfer last week - and made his debut for his new club yesterday.

Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers insisted over the weekend that he wouldn't be falling out with anyone if he didn't get his way - but he did want a replacement in before the window slams shut at 11pm tonight.

But time is running out and his options are falling like dominoes.

Celts weren't able to make progress with Brondby over a fee for Mathias Kvistgaarden, so the club began to look elsewhere.

Rodgers made use of his contacts to explore a deal to bring former Leicester striker Kelechi Iheanacho to Parkhead but he has joined Middlesbrough instead

Two names that were still in the frame as the clock ticked down were Tammer Bany and Danny Ings.

Danish starlet Bany, 21, was first linked with the Glasgow giants last week having impressed for Randers this season, his first in his country's top flight.

But he is understood to have completed a £3m move to West Brom (where he will link up with ex-Celtic and Hibs boss Tony Mowbray and former Hoops winger Mikey Johnston).

Ings emerged as a potential signing earlier today according to multiple reports but any possible move for him now looks certain to be dead in the water

The 32-year-old has scored just once for West Ham this season in 13 Premier League appearances but he made sense for Celts given he would provide depth and competition up top.

However, he was included in the Hammers' matchday squad for their game against Chelsea tonight and that all but rules out the prospect of him leaving the club before tonight's deadline

Adam Idah is now the only central striker with first team experience left in the Hoops' squad, though Rodgers has suggested Daizen Maeda may be given a run out through the middle in the not-too-distant future.

Johnny Kenny is the only other recognised centre-forward on the books though he did have a productive loan spell at Shamrock Rovers.

Slovenian striker David Strelec remains the only other striker linked with Celtic that could arrive before the window shuts.

The Premiership champions also remain keen on Lennon Miller and a deal for Jeffrey Schlupp is about to be announced.

Kieran Tierney's comeback - on a pre-contract before a summer return - will be confirmed in the next few hours.

We likely will be, but we're taking a pretty big risk. Weakened the squad ahead of the biggest CL game in a decade. It's not really an acceptable position to be in given the funds we have. Brendan must be furious.

Absolutely grim. We are less than 90 minutes away from being considerably weaker from when the * window opened.
