what a load of crap says we have to sell one of our top players to balance the books, correct me if im wrong but are we not in a great financial position and didnt lawell come out and say failure to enter the champions league group stages doesnt mean we cant afford to buy new players. :31::31::31:typical paper talk trying to unsettle us.

I can see where you're coming from, but we don't even have adequate backup for him as it is.
Fortune isn't a goal poacher, he's an assist man. Samaras is too hot and cold. Killen hasn't seen first team football in ages (unless you count friendlies). Jury is out on Hutch and he's always injured anyway.

Would be absolute madness. The only player we have that guarantees goals plus he wouldn't be worth the same as a Brown for example.

Brown is the first on my list, massively over rated within football which means we'll get an inflated fee.

you would let our top goalscorer over the last two or three years leave? he is the best player in the squad for scoring goals and you'd let him leave? i find no logic in that.

McGeady would be my first person to let leave. level of consistency is worrying and i don't think he will ever reach his potential he showed when he first broke into the team. most worrying thing for me is his decision making.

Skippy is no Larsson, his second touch on the ball is usually a tackle he his hit and miss and i think mogga will only allow him to leave if he has someone else ready to move in eg eider ?????

the problem is we have come to expect that players the likes of mcdonald are class for us, im sorry he is decent but thats all, we deserve better at celtic dont expect to find another larsson but surely we deserve better than someone who as someone else said his second touch is a tackle,
mcdonald is more of a poacher and does score goals but we need more from him, id sell but i would be looking to bring players also.

do you honestly think they have budgeted for getting into the group stages ? With the possibilities of the draw i would say not so to be honest i dont think this will be as big an issue as some are making out so I dont think they wil be needing to sell anyone unless they choose to

Skippy isnt my favourite player but letting him leave would be ridiculous, he's the only natural goal scorer we have at the moment. If we were guaranteed to replace him with quality though, i'd pack his bags for him.

What the * is that storey? All they have done is thought, Celtic aren't going to qualify for the Champions league, so they'll obviously need money, so therefore will sell their leading goalscorer. We don't need to sell, we are financially sound, whether we make the CL or not. Whoever wrote this is a complete tool.

well get on mccourts back straight away...the boy was playin in his 1st cl game in a heartbroken celtic park 2 down to arsenal.

Alot of people in here who couldnt kick a ball yet cannot wait to get on the backs of guys tryin to make it at their boyhood club:31::31::31::31::31::31:

as 4 scott i think that a proven spl goalscorer is a must for champions. bringing in a player from abroad who doesnt settle, injures easily etc would set our sails down * creek!:38:

Just sent this email to them as Im bored!

Whoever Andy McInnes is is a complete idiot. That also goes for the person who hired him. His article titled "Oz could be sold" from Thursday 20th August, is one of the worst pieces of journalism I've ever seen. He does not know a thing about his subject, which is shown by the actual content of his piece, and also by the fact he fails to mention any clubs linked to the player.
Just thought I'd get that off my chest.
    Thanks
