Just done an IQ test and scored 134, Afterwards I checked the score guide and found that it was a cracking score, Superior Intelligence infact!

    Average 85-100
    Above Average 100-115
    High Intelligence 115-130
    Superior Intelligence 130-145 :52:
    Exceptionally Gifted 145+

Knock yourself out lads, Post your scores! http://www.free-iqtest.net/

All of those IQ tests are inaccurate (not to say you're not of superior intelligence). :smiley-laughing002:

I think I got 124, the last time I tried it. Results said I was on par with George W. Bush. :fear: :smiley-laughing002:

    134. Ridiculous test. :56: Presumably none of us are even doing this when we're at our peak mentally (I'm knackered). The first 3 on a forum to try it are of superior intelligence. Apparently, fewer than 2 people in 1000 have an IQ above 130.

A high IQ essentially means you can process things quickly if the tests are anything to go by.

You have an IQ of 133

I didnt notice any time limit.
I know i got 3 wrong at least, as i guessed at 2 of the number sequences as i ran out of patience, before i did time.

Thought it was going to feature a least a bit of general knowledge, surely any good IQ test would seek to ascertain intelligence in a range of fields? Instead of just asking you to solve pointless shape puzzles which don't help humanity at all.
What the * have shapes got to do with anything.

I got 128 and guessed all those stupid maths questions, no-one even needs to know how many hypothetical green lines would fit in a fictional blue box in real life ffs.

    * maths.

    English ftw.

The main flaw that I see with these kinds of tests are some people have learning disabilities. So if someone has dyslexia, and has difficulty reading and comprehending what he reads, or if someone has dyscalculia, and has severe difficulty with math, they are going to have a low score. Many people with learning disabilities are in fact very smart people, they just have problems in one pinpointed area.

Didn't bother with the numbered sequences. My brain just shuts down after a few seconds of trying to work out patterns and relationships between numbers :smiley-laughing002: funnily enough though, I managed to work out most of the shape puzzle ones no bother.

    Very true.

I found a more than few of the questions really hard. I'll be honest, for those I didn't know, I simply guessed.

There is a bigger problem than that. They are western centric. If you are from rural Africa for example, then you probably dont have much experience with word puzzles and dafte wee number sequences so would fair pretty poorly at the test, but tht doesn't make you unintelligent.
