THE draw for the round of 32 in the UEFA Europa League has paired Celtic with Italian giants Inter Milan.

In what is arguably the tie of the round, two former European Cup winners will go head-to-head for a place in the last 16 of the competition.

Of course, we have a little history with our friends from Italy given that they were the opponents on May 25, 1967 when Jock Stein’s Celtic were crowned the champions of Europe. The legendary Lisbon Lions defeated Inter Milan to become the first British team to win the European Cup and write their name into football folklore.

The visit of Roberto Mancini’s side is sure to make for yet another thrilling night of European football under the floodlights at Paradise, and a full Celtic Park can make all the difference as the Bhoys aim for a positive result to take to Italy the following week.

The home match takes place on Thursday February 19, kicking-off at 8.05pm.

Tickets will initially be on sale to Season Ticket holders ONLY from this Wednesday December 17 at 9.00am until Monday January 5 at 5.00pm.

Seat relocations, which will be necessary for a small percentage of fans due to UEFA requirements, will take place on Tuesday January 6.

Season Ticket holders will then have the opportunity to purchase an additional two tickets for the match on Wednesday January 7 on a first come, first served basis at general sale prices.

Subject to availability, remaining tickets will be made available in a general sale on Thursday January 8.

Ticket prices for Season Ticket holders are £28 for adults, £20 for concessions and £16 for Under 13s.

General sale tickets will be priced from £35 for adults, from £25 for concessions and from £20 for under 13s.

Season Ticket holders on the Home Cup Ticket scheme will receive their tickets automatically via the post. Payment date will Friday January 9.

Those Season Ticket holders not on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme can buy tickets at the Celtic Ticket Office, on our sales line on 0871 226 1888* or by visiting our eticketing site HERE
Corporate and Premium hospitality packages for the match will also be available. Details to follow. In the meantime please email matchdayhospitality@celticfc.c o.uk to register your interest.

If you’re not already a Season Ticket holder, now is the ideal time to buy one of our Half Season Ticket packages, a benefit of which is the guarantee of a right to buy a ticket for Inter Milan match. For full details visit http://www.celticfc.net/pages/halfseason

Good to see season book holders get 20% off. £28 is a good price. £35's not awful either. Should be a full house or we might aswell chuck it :50:

It's a bit harsh to say there should be a massive price drop because its only the EL and not the CL. The quality of teams and player is still very good.

The gap in quality between EL and CL is not as big as the gap in prestige. If you're into your football, this is a very good tie and a very good tournement to be in the latter stages of, especially when your usual opposition amount to St. Mirren and Partick Thistle :50:

I agree I'm not looking down my nose at it leave that to the BPL teams it's a good tournament it would be great to go far but £35 pound for the last 32 is shocking what would the next round be then ? dearer than a champions league ticket ?

I'd agree there. Hopefully we can go through and if we do there isn't an increase in price.

I think £35 is reasonable for a one off game against opposition like Inter Milan.

28 pound is very good in my opinion.

35 for non season ticket holders is about right. Needs to be a benefit in having a season ticket.

£28 very good for playing inter, in the grand scheme of modern football. especially as its £26 for individual match ticket v hamilton.

My season ticket holder pals are sorting me and my friend tickets hopefully, so looking fowarding to flying up from bournemouth. fully expect a full house and hoping for a proper euro night atmosphere like we used to get in the uefa cup. now that its ko footy and its inter do you think it will be rocking?

If celtic fans cant get up for a ko game v a club like inter then ill be baffled and actually left wondering when we can ever achieve our world renowned parkhead atmosphere again.

£35 is a lot of money but again in the scheme of modern football, for this match its not that bad when afc bournemouth charge that for their championship games

Pretty good chance. Check the club website on 8 January to see what's available on general sale.

Or if you know anyone here with a season ticket ask them to get you one as they will be allowed to buy a max of two extra's each.

35£ is alright considering the amount of gloryhunter's going over for it ( myself included :smiley-laughing002: ) who wouldn't be going to any other game at lest the season ticket holder's get it cheaper

Impossible to say for sure but I think it'll be close to it. But anybody who wants a ticket should be able to get one.
