big tunnel from north pole to south pole, you jump in the north tunnel. you fall and fall but there comes a point when you cant fall any longer cause when you reached the south pole you cant fall out the ground.

I was hoping because the earth rotates on an axis you would eventually get your ride out.

Actually I think I made an error there, because the earth doesn't turn upside down does it?

I would be the worst space cadet. We wanna go down but we're stuck, can you push me and like we'll use our legs to push against the walls if the tunnel? Well at least we could always go back the way? But everyone would be so disappointed, we are all booked up for Australia! Yeah well ok when you get there can you drill into the earth and we'll meet you from this side and we'll party?

Or we could use a jet pack? I mean I'm open to any ideas I don't wanna get stuck there. There would be no internet signal. How are we gonna get wi-fi? Maybe a motorbike could get us through? That's a lot of stuff though, a drill and a bike an two jet packs. I'm gonna take this sign with me :poster_oo

Exactly, Swerve dancer: you'd come out the right way up, because you'd be going in upside down.

How are you guys planning on surviving being incinerated or vaporised or whatever from the heat near the core?

With a pneumatic drill? You would come out feet first with drill pointing in the air?

We have sunglasses on and factor 50

is there life on other planets.

actaully think this will get confirmed in my lifetime.even a bit of bacteria or a fish on another planet,is very likely.

the odds at the start of the year about finding other life in the next five years was 1000 to one.now its took a huge jump to only fifty to one.

with all these new satelites and telescopes getting built its just a matter time i think.theres a telescope that will be ready soon that will be able to detect pollution coming from a far away star, planet light years away.

Aye you've no used a pneumatic drill before have ye? :giggle1:

I think we're just going to take some tinfoil for when we get near the core we'll wear that and it'll protect us from the heat. We could wrap a whole First Bus in tinfoil and that'll see us through.

It's going to have to be a pretty good drill though because the bus driver won't want to be waiting for ages for us to open the road ahead. Maybe we should get the half of it done first.

I actually fancy using the drills they used to build the Channel Tunnel. You sit inside a truck with a drill bit on the front and off you go full steam ahead.

Using a pneumatic drill would be murder on yer arms, after a while.

Sunglasses is a good idea, we'll want to look as cool as possible when we arrive. :34:
