Yesterday i was listening to talk sport drive time and Adrian Durham was suggesting Celtic have won the league by default. This made my blood boil, to the extent i contacted them today via e mail. Do not let anyone spout this nonsense near you please shoot them down. RANGERS GOT WITHIN 4 POINTS OF US BY DEFAULT not the other way round!

Mods this post is of a Celtic nature and i dont believe it should be hidden away in the radio phone in thread. We all need to stop anyone spreading these lies in their tracks. Celtic have done nothing wrong here and any trophies we win will be by merit. Here is a copy of my e mail I wonder if they will cover any of the relevant issues or continue to defraud our management board team and supporters.

I take exception to the comment/theme in yesterdays show that Celtic have won the league by "default" as a result of rangers 10 point deduction for going into administration.

Rangers have entered administration as a direct consequence of not paying any tax or n.i THIS season. Rangers owe the tax man 9m from THIS season alone. Rangers have gained an unfair advantage over their opponents all season by carrying a wage bill roughly double they can afford.

When they entered administration Rangers were 4 points behind Celtic, Rangers achieved this by "DEFAULT" they were the ones that that ran their business in an unsustainable manner cheating the public purse in search for tainted titles, how many nurses would 9m have paid for between may and the present? Would n.h.s waiting lists be shorter as a result?

I refuse to accept that The Celtic P.L.C board should have their commitment to putting a successful team on the park to challenge for honours, while living within our means in an effort to safeguard our future in economically tough times classed as winning by "default".

Celtic have acted in a fit and proper manner and put a team on the park that was 4 points ahead of a team that was in effect getting a 50% discount on labour.

All Rangers problems have been created by RANGERS, and their refusal to cut their cloth 4 years ago when they could have made provisions to pay their debt. They decided to keep on spending as stopping Celtic win the league was more important. There was always an expectation that someone else would pick up the tab for Rangers success and they would be fine.

There is a myth going around in sections of the media that are too lazy to do 10mins research into the net spend of both old firm clubs over the last 5 years that Rangers have been financially "RESTRICTED" by the bank and still won 3 titles in a row. Rangers have continued to spend more money on transfers than all other s.p.l clubs.

In the past 5 years Celtic have a net spend of under 1m on players while Rangers net spend is around 15m.

To avoid doubt the BIG tax case (of the 3 we currently know about) looming over Rangers is for 23m in unpaid tax with penalties and interest currently being decided by a First Tier Tax Tribunal. Rangers offered H.M.R.C 11m 2 years ago to settle which was refused.

My question to you is would it have been so hard for Rangers to offer to pay back 5m a year starting 3 or 4 years ago. and adjust their budget to suit? No it wouldn't unless you expect someone else to pick up the tab and for everyone to suffer in order for Rangers to prosper.

Jelavic 4m, lafferty 4m, davis 4m, mculloch 2m, beattie 1m, bougerra 2m, off the top of my head here is 17m Rangers could have put towards safeguarding the clubs future/history all signed while being financially "RESTRICTED" by the bank (cough cough) over the last 3/4 yr.

This is not the end of Rangers this is only the beginning of the end of Rangers. The financial mismanagement of the club over the last 25yr will be revealed bit by bit over the coming weeks, months, and perhaps years. Between 1996 and 2011 Rangers spent 165m more than they earned while avoiding 25m tax and receiving two 40m cash injections from rich supporters in the process.

When the full extent of the financial doping and tax cheating are revealed trophies will be stripped, the club will be liquidated and a battle will commence over who gets to own the new co rangers.

Don't expect to many Celtic fans to shed a tear for them we lived through their cheating and stood with pride and took defeat on the chin for a decade.

At the start of the season when rangers were going for 10 in a row Celtic had 45,000 season tickets holders (more than rangers) to suggest we will get bored of going to see our team win in Rangers absence or against a weakened rangers is ludicrous.

When we were asked to step up to the plate by Fergus McCann to buy season tickets and shares we did it, not because he guaranteed us success but because we knew if we didn't help ourselves no one else would.

Lets see how the deep the Rangers fans pockets are in their hour of need, I suspect the only time Ibrox will be full in years to come is when we fill it for them.

I hope you can discuss some of these points on the show today and maybe stop people from spreading the myth we need Rangers, or cant survive without them. Celtic fans will always put their hand in their pocket to support Celtic regardless of what mischief rangers are up to.

So please fellow supporters please shoot down anyone looking to belittle our achievements for acting correctly. We are not in the wrong here!

    Or quite simply

The Huns titles are default and void.

54? Nope. It’s now closer to 30 something.

Well done OP :50: Im also raging that people will say we won by default and not on merit. Even if they didnt go into administration we would have won the league comfortably.

Adrian Durham? The same hun who said Jerome Rothen would make Aiden McGeady look like a conference player, that's all you need to know as it clearly shows he hasn't got a clue about anything and is just going fishing for a reaction.

Glad to see he's hurting :celt_2:

I don't give a * that we won it cos they went into administration.i would be over the moon if we won it every year in this manner just like the scum won't give a deck they won their titles while robbing the British public of hospitals and schools.

We know the truth. If people want to be ignorant minded then let them be. As for the Rangers fans they need an excuse to cling onto cos they are imbred freaks who will fill the kilmarnock end at hampden cos by the time the league cup final comes around rangers will merely exist

Wow that really is just absolute drivel.

He was getting lambasted by Phil Thompson on Soccer Saturday a few weeks ago for some of his nonsense. :celt_2:

We are 14 points clear because the huns cheated plain and simple. They have not paid 9m since the later portion of last season. Thus they cheated in part of last season when we finished only 1 point behind and their cheating has continued this season. In fact given we had a 4 point lead with 12 to play despite their cheating I would say Motherwell and the diet huns have the biggest gripe as given their cheating one of them is quite likely being denied second spot and a shot in the early rounds of next seasons Champions League.

I heard that exact same * and emailed them, was gonna ring but luckily (for my phone bill) another Bhoy did just that and took the ignorant * to task.

I understand everyone in the media these days has to be controversial to sell papers/tv/radio shows etc, but I don't think you should straight up bullshit the public as some * will believe it. No doubt there are scummy Chelsea, Man U, etc fans walking around down south right now thinking we won the league by default and will use that as a stick to bash us with whenever we're down playing them :31:
