especially going with wingbacks matthews and izzy is a throw back to they days

It felt amazing to see Izzy BACK today. I know he's played before today, but it really felt like he was back to the Emilio we know. Kris Commons, too.... A day to remember.

 

This is definitely the best squad we've had since 2003. It's vastly important that we keep the majority of this side together this summer if we have serious ambitions of being competitive in the Champions League next season. If we can do that, whilst also bringing in a top quality centre-half and combative striker (as well as tying Forster down to a permanent deal), we could well see an era of dominance for this current side.

 

I just love the shape that this team is taking now

Lenny really seems to have that golden touch of legendary managers like MON and SAF guardiola etc

 

I thought last years team was better IMO.

 

A bit worse for wear now but totally delighted at Celtic's performance today

 

I think Lenny knows how to get the best out of any squad of players though

thats the sign of a great manager

Would be a good way to end it too. We won the first ever derby game 5-2 I think it was and we now win the potentially last one too :icon_mrgreen:

 

Been a great day but if we could not beat that rangers team that was put in front of us today then we should chuck it ! Personally i dont think anyone from this team could get in Martin Oneills team so how it could rival it im not sure??
