Not very. When we won 12 games in a row he barely got a game. There have only been 2 games he has really impressed me (Including Saturday), I think some people are vastly overrating him just because he's from Barcelona, he's hardly done anything.

He's a player that can definetly help us to win the title but I do not think that he's the most important. I would prefer him to get injured than I would Brown or Caldwell who are the foundation of our team

The praise he gets is exaggerated somewhat I would say. However he is looking really promising and that goal on Saturday highlights his potential.

More games and some dominating performances are required to really be the *difference* player that many people are making him out to be and we all hope he becomes.

    Tell McGreedy that.

People who think we're overrating Crosas are way off the mark. When he plays, not only does he put in a good performance, Brown always plays brilliant. Usually gets a goal too.

He & Brown are a wonderful partnership together, both have publicly said it. Crosas passing range is wonderful, it means we don't need to rely on Nakamura for vision every game.

He can sit back and dictate play from deep and allow Brown to get further forward, so I'd say him playing has a huge effect on where the title goes.

Crosas' passing and vision is miles better than any other midfielder we have, his ability to always find a pass under pressure has probably had more effect on games than he gets credit for. Brown next to him does the running and bullying so the partnership is perfect.

I'd argue about him having the best vision and passing ability, Naka takes that mantle imo, although if Crosas continues the way he's going he has every chance of over taking him.

Your right though him and Brown seem like the perfect combination :50:

That's true m8 but it doesn't make him any less of a great passer of the ball, he's still got it in him to pick out passes most people couldn't even imagine.

If the 4 in midfield play as well as they did on Saturday for the duration we'll win the league. Crosas is a vital component of it and he'd play every week if I was manager but he's not crucial to the difference between us winning or surrendering the title.

Talk about exaggerating a player based on one performance. I'll wait to see if he can stay injury free first

Plenty of people were raving about him before St.Mirren. Myself & Hammer spring to mind straight away.

    Clearly the talent is there.

He's a talented player but he still has a long way to go before establishing himself as that important.

Maloney is a talented player too but when you are getting injured hopping off the physio table all that talent is useless to Celtic.

People on TC have a knack of hyping up players, on a regular basis, that havent played much first team football.

One performance and people are talking like he's absolutely key to winning the SPL

He's an excellent addition to have in the squad. With our without him we are capable of winning the league, he's not that indespensible to the squad to be worried about losing the league when he's injured/not playing.

I agree Demps, but see both sides of the argument - Strachan's quotes below insinuate he sees him as a very important cog in the first 11 when fit. His presence alongside Brown in particular seems to reap great benefits.

Strachan said: "Marc picked up an ankle injury in the game against Queen's Park at the weekend and once it settles down we will know if he can play against Rangers.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p itxtvisited="1"></o:p>
"It would be good for us if he was available for selection as I feel he helps to knit our team together at times. He performs an important role for us.<o:p itxtvisited="1"></o:p>
"I felt Marc was dragged down to the same level of mediocrity as the rest of the team in what was an unacceptable performance against Queen's.<o:p itxtvisited="1"></o:p>
"But he has shown in certain games this season what an influential player he can be. Against Hibs and Dundee United, in particular, he was brilliant.<o:p itxtvisited="1"></o:p>
"In my opinion, Marc helps to gels things together"<o:p itxtvisited="1"></o:p>
