This was one of the unknown quantities about Lenny when he took up the post. He had never signed a player in his life. Anyway the first thing is a list of 1st team squad guys Lenny has signed. We cant judge the ones that have not played yet. I will get it started on the list

    Forster
    Cha
    Izz
    Mulgrew
    Maj
    Kayal
    Ledley
    Juarez
    Commons
    Hooper
    Stokes
    Murphy
    Freddie

Before I start rating is there anyone else in the first team squad who Lenny has signed and has actually played for us to date?

I think his dealings have all been absolute quality. Considering he has never done it before, and he has brought in some quality players for not much money.

Are we supposed to rate them all out of 10?

    Kapo- less said the better.
Generally good signings though. Quite happy with his record.

Murphy gets 6? For the money we paid for him it should be a 3.

Actually Mulgrew has been better than i expected and big Forsters record speaks for itself.

Kapo wasn't bad. We weren't paying him anything and he did contribute in a couple of matches.

Yes Murphy gets a 6 as he was a match-winner on a couple of occasions if I am not correct.

Wasn't given a lot of chances, and when he did play - was not the worst on the pitch.

Can't believe that Kapo played for free. Never heard of a volunteer pro footballer.

I'm sure I read something about that as well.

Was willing to play for nothing and try to win a deal.

Forster (Decent big keeper, wouldn't mind if we signed him permanently although that's very unlikely)

    Cha
(He hasn't really been a success or a failure, just a steady player)

    Izaguirre
(Terrific signing considering what we paid for him)

    Mulgrew
(Good utility player, but really should just be back up for any position he can play)

    Majstorovic
(Been happy with him, has his moments but most defenders do)

    Kayal
(Lennon's best signing, just unfortunate that he missed a decent chunk of last season)

    Ledley
(Very rarely puts in outstanding performances, but he is a model of consistency which is very important)

    Juarez
(Something obviously amiss with this guy, poor signing on the basis of he hasn't made an impact)

    Commons
(Has had an outstanding impact since signing, terrific bit of business for £300k)

    Hooper
(Very good signing, scores goals and has more to his game than that, just needs to be more consistent)

    Stokes
(We can do better, but can't dispute that he is a good SPL goalscorer)

Murphy (One of Lennon's poorer signings)

Seems to be one of Lennon's strong points as manager, the players he has brought in have been overall very good.
