Feel free to share your vote/reasons for voting.

I voted Yes because I think there is a clear difference between the voting intentions of the majority of Scotland and England, but our votes will never matter because we are so vastly outnumbered. :50:

I wasn't eligible to vote but I would have voted Yes - the only choice for a fairer, freer, better Scotland.

I voted YES because I believe in our ability to be a free, independent and wealthy nation which looks after it's own first and foremost.

However it appears we still live in a nation of nay-sayers who would like to continue to dodge along under the thumb of Westminster.

That's fine, just don't come crying to the 1.6m people in this country who told you so when it all goes wrong and promises are broken. That is especially aimed at the older generation, no offence to anyone in that bracket who voted YES.

My faith and belief in the people of Scotland wavered somewhat last night and this morning. Our national identity has been hurt severely.

We need to keep going now though as gutted as I am. Before all of this started I had very little interest in politics but this campaign has really pulled me in and I after thinking about it I am determined to not let this be the end as I'm sure many others are.

Aye there were loads of reasons I voted Yes to be fair. I just picked my main one for the OP as I didn't want to start a big discussion on the vote when there's already a thread for that.

This is just to see how TC actually voted on the day. :50:

I was not eligible to vote but would have voted no. A race who are handed independence on a plate and refuse it deserve to remain in Englands servitude...if you know what I mean

I voted Yes because I am not a passive shitebag worm who needs scraps from their masters table.

I chose Yes because I have a set of balls with hair on them.

I chose Yes because I wanted to give my children a brighter future governed by their own.

I didn't choose No because I am not a worthless coward * that lives in fear rather than hope.

Voted Yes pretty much for the same reasons previously stated-we can and should be able to govern ourselves.

I voted yes but was sold out by people like my parents:

    "Ah wahnt ma pension"

    "Salmond is a *"

Thanks mum and dad, I'm happy to work until I am 70 and then pay for my health care.

You won't find anyone who voted no. It will be like after Blair won a landslide, 2 years later you somehow couldn't fild a soul who voted for him?

Despicable silent, treacherous, fear mongering *.

I am Irish and living in the US ao I was obviously not eligible to vote but I wholeheartedly supported a yes vote. I believe in Scotland and its ability to run its own affairs and build a positive and propserous country.

I also think in a world including Britain in its current format where powerful multi nationals and wealthy elites are garnering more and more power and wealth at the expense of the vast majority Scotland pulling away was a step in a better direction away from that kind of Oligarchy toward a more positive and more locally in tune government.

I voted yes for many reasons but the main one was the atrocious poverty in a country with so much wealth.

My whole family voted yes...even those who's jobs could have been affected by the removal of trident.

You have only the word of the Brits that you would be worse off. Their jobs would be replaced in other areas. Scotland would be equally if not more viable as a nation as the likes of Ireland or Denmark. From bust Ireland is now back on the road to recovery eith the strongest growth in the EU.
