got a job with Ladbrokes and noticed Griffiths is at 11/4 Higdon at 10/3 and Hooper is at 5/1 now given how the CL is done until Feb and Stokes coming back in January, while the odds aren't sky high it's still surprising to see Hooper being priced at 5's.

Just thought I would throw that one out there.

It won't be Griffiths, he's away in January and the chances are Hibs aren't going to be able to keep him. Think I might stick a few quid on that actually :50:

7/1? even better still then, personally think who ever the traders are for the bookies like Victor and Ladbrokes who are given Hooper at 5 and 7 are seriously not doing their research properly but in the end I would think it would win and all the better for us to take advantage of it.

It is also good to see someone giving higher odds then 5's as I'm not allowed to bet with Ladbrokes now, thanks for the tip pope

He'll be back at Wolves I think. He'll do well at Wolves this year.

Wolves don't want him back I don't think, but he's out of contract in the summer, so they'll probably look to sell him in january

Griffiths will play out the season and get top scorer. Don't think Hooper will catch Higdon either.

He only has 4 I think, in 12 games, so he would really need to get close to a goal a game from the remaining 22 and even then, hope Griffiths and Higdon fail to get much past double figures in that time.

Hoopers on 4 isn't he? He'll be up there before the next Champs League game I reckon!

I'm surprised Hoops only has 4 SPL goals, especially when he has 13 in all competitions.

7/1 is definitely value, Hooper can easily score 3 or 4 in one game (like he did last season), and his price will plummet. With St.Mirren & Ross County at home coming up, I'd say this is the best time to put on such a bet. :50:

thats what gets me thinking, games like you just mentioned, plus I like to think with Stokes coming back you should see Hooper's goal total rocket Hooper is a player who can bang in goals and with the CL now on the back burner too you should see his league total increase quickly, plus teams like Hibs and Motherwell wont be able to sustain long periods of good form like we can while being free scoring.

Also my outside bet would be Sheridan and Samaras for top scorer in the CL at 250/1 I think i saw on that link that pope provided.

4/1 is still a great price considering he's by far the best striker in the SPL. If he starts trying domestically as well as in Europe this year he should easily win this accolade, which is why i'm amazed at the price.

:50:No problem mate , You was the one that highlighted the idea i just done some digging on the price always use odds checker for any bet .

No point in taking 4/1 / 5/1 when you can get 7/1

I work for Ladbrokes now mate and he is 5/1 with them and the link pope gave shows victor have him at 7/1, these guys traders sound like they aint done their jobs as well as they should.

Either way there odds that should be taken complete advantage of for such reasons as Hooper could still catch guys like Griffiths with the odd brace and hattrick which he is well capable of doing
